I'm still excited about it. With all the new ones there will be things I'll miss. For instance I didn't see any cars or driving going on :-/

The only thing i hate about The Sims is EA with their overpriced expansion packs. The Sims 3 base game gets boring quickly. Why cant they add seasons and pets in the base game? Is it really that hard? No. They just want money

And to be honest, who gives a shit about all these new emotions stuff? All i want is my Sims to move from room to room without getting stuck in random shit, or saying they cant walk just because they cant make a slight turn to the right. I want the movement and animation between Sims to be more fluid and responsive. Oh, and EA. Fix this fucking stutter that Sims 3 has every 10 seconds. The game is almost unplayable. And whats worst is that this problem has been present ever since the game came out and EA knows about this, and they never did anything about it.

So, to sum it all up. EA is greedy as shit and doesnt give a fuck about the fans or anyone to be honest.

Do they know where in 2013 ? Graphic wise this looks old..like directX 9.

I picked up the latest Humble Bundle and the Sims 3 was part of it. I had never played a Sims game before, but I must admit it like it. So I'm curious what the next installment will bring.

I mostly got into sims for house building and drowning my sim in the pool not for living another life outside my own(how depressing)

Why do they still look cartoonish? We're in 2013 people!

I guess I don't see a whole lot of difference. Sure, the character models are a little more detailed but I'd expect something more advanced after 4 years. Maybe I just haven't seen enough yet. The Sims 3 it extremely poorly optimized so maybe they couldn't figure out how to do better without a super-computer.

Character models look about the same from part 3, but the improved creation tools look great..

i used playing sims# when i have a bad mood of a certain failing moments of  killing a hard boss in action/ RPG games ..sims fun for 1 or 2 hours and then grows BORING sorry but this is the ugly truth

Have you EA guys ever thought of moving away from the boring North American Sub-urban life? And I'm not talking about a vacation here.

creation tools look good, but graphics looks old and teribble. also those emotions look weird, all sims acting like dumb children, why there is no some serious sims!! and more importantly developers should improve sims's AI.

I would have prefer more realistic look.

Holy Sh*t, rockets?

They take creativity to a whole new level this time. And new system and the graphics are cool. Just... please make a VACATION sytem. SEPARATE THEM WITH ADVENTURE. Sims 3 never had a Vacation pack (Island Paradise is about resort anyway)

I really like the changes they made for the character and house creation (which is really the only reason I play these games for the short period that I do)

@MikeMarquez Yes they could add thos to the base game and along with them they should add university too.

@grosgrostas I think the graphics are fine, they keep to the sims franchise and they can be run by older pc versions.
