The beta is coming soon cant wait O.O~! just one question can we check out different factions till we find the one we like the most?
Oh one other thing I want to give props to Funcom for including three factions in the game. Few people seem to realize that dual faction PvP always ends up terrible for balance and numbers/side. Ever since DAoC I've had to shake my head in wonder at any studio making 2 faction PvP.
I started off quite unimpressed TBH. The softcore scene at the beginning, the animations, glitches, teleporting mobs, tinny sound effects etc all scream alpha stage. The whole thong panties showing is pretty immature and embarrassing too. We aren't all 14 year old zit-faced boys in a locker room Funcom. By the end of the video (watched it all), I'd give the game a chance, at the very least, I'd be excited to get into beta. I would not pay a sub to play this game though, and that's the deal breaker for me personally. I like the ideas behind this game, I like the modern setting, and with enough polishing (a ton based on this vid), it could be a great game I think. I'm afraid GW2 is the best thing on the horizon for me.
Best graphics in an mmo ever! More sex, blood-thirstier monsters, harder quests => less GW2-kids. Looking forward to this one :)
Ermack.. Have you seen the character models in SWTOR or WoW.. ?? This is off the charts better than most other MMO's. Think AoC is the only MMO with better models. Check GW2 even. MMOs models are not as good as in single player RPG.
Hahah wtf is your definition of attractive? Cuz it's completely different than mine lol. That chick he made looks retarded XD
These character models are way above anything else in the MMO genre. Wish they could show some more PvP. 3 faction fights could be win.
I dont know!! but the guy with the hammer moved it like a 2 year old kid!! I mean seriously if this is going to be the final animation I doubt anyone using those!!
@2:25 he starts to get creepy...than perverted and ugh... @6:25 les scene and wdf? @8:00 more les action Idk I skipped lots of parts and usually ended up on something that did not make sense or hent@i perverted. Combat looks clunky and interface is omg how can you know where stuff is. Too much useless cr@p flying around and button smashing like heck. I see no skill in this. Run>smash buttons>heal> RINSE AND REPEAT T.T I predict a 5.0 or 5.5
I noticed the quest givers talk way too much to give you the details on the mission. Unless it is a new area for the first time i can understand the lengthy segment. This game is far from finish and they need to improved on smoothing out the combat animations. I really like the amount of detail that is in the world. Papers on the floor, cars, bikes, tables, all kinds of things you would notice to make the world more believable. So it seems you are not locked into a build and you can switch on the fly. But I guess you still need the gear for it. I kind of like this idea. I am afraid that the developers put you on a road to walk on and it seems like you can't stray from the road. Seems like they went through a lot of trouble to tell the story. They got a Minecraft style to crafting. Seems fun but I know I am going to have to open a web browser to see what I am making. So far games like DC, Rift, SWTOR, D&D Online, have only caught my attention for about a month and I quit them all in that time frame. I think it will be the same with this game. I wouldn't pay the monthly fee for this game. But I would play it if it was free 2 play.
animations are pathetic. combat looks bad. game as a whole looks repetitive. graphics and models are nice, but that is to be expected nowadays. would not buy it based on this video.
Seems like another MMO that relies on stats and not fighting skill. What happens if you make a straight line in the crafting window, do you end up with a vibrator with crit rating ? Maybe a good game or very boring, time will tell - I still personally prefer the Tera (FPS) style of fighting (but haven't tried this game yet).
@MegamanX2011 Right because Guild Wars 1 and 2 were sub-standard MMO's. If they were only looking to get money from sales then why has no guild wars game ever required a subscription. Guild Wars 1 is a great game that to this day is around 10 times more challenging than WoW is. Guild Wars gameplay is much more based off of player skill rather than what loot you have as well. The world in GW is just as large and well-crafted as wow and yet there are no monthly fee's and still-updated content.
Gotta love it when even in this shows the game is glitchy, it's like they don't care anymore, they know people get so excited about mmo's they will buy ANYTHING.
NCSoft (Tabula Rasa, Auto Assault, Guild Wars 2) Funcom (AOC, Secret World) and Sony Online Entertainment (SW Galaxies, Everquest 2) are gaming companies that rather sell trash as fast as possible to get money from retail sales. Don't get fooled by these companies, thy sell sub standard products in MMORPG genre. NCsoft managed to shutdown 2 MMORPG due to poor management. You have been warned.
sorry...i like the look of it, i stopped playingg wow coz they took away all choisce towards the end :(
I don't want to sound like an ass, but Funcom hasn't done one thing right after Anarchy. AoC was a good example, it was bug ridden and unplayable at launch. I'm not sure how they are getting people psyched for this game? ..
this game is horrible..played some beta etc etc...the only reason this game is know its because of EA...
F2P? Nope, well looks like I'm out. I'll buy my games once and play as I see fit, instead of being forced into a commitment to play.
But I do admire them for trying different things in there MMOs as example the Age of Conan combat system it was actually pretty fun.
Hmm Funcom, thought they were finicially hurting because of Age of Conan. Looks good but man I've tried alot of MMOs they all get bad at level cap. Not sure I want to try anymore after Swtor.
I hope they're still working on the animations, and adding some environmental effects. and the customization, too many ugly choices no one will pick. What's the point of variety, if players will mostly pick the same options? Game looks like its got potential, but needs a whole lot of polish.. if, on top of that, it's as bug infested as previous Funcom games were at launch, they're going to fail, yet again. Maybe it'll sell ok, and get by with about as many subs as AO, or AOC, but it just seems like they could be aiming so much higher than that, if they'd just finish their games before releasing them.
