Say as the previous demo, but this time they have the writer & the female voice actor talk about the game.
Polish polish polish. This game could be really solid if they fine-tune the controls and camera angles.
I have to say I really been waiting for this game. Is really what a lot of us would play more than one time.
demo had a lot of screen tearing, but it looked cool none the less. Can't wait to play it on my PS3 !
Love the whole concept of the game... The way your character interacts with the environment in different situation, especially the fact that you can craft your own inventory depending on your game style. So thumbs up can't wait.
I have been thinking about this game since i saw the footage. This is gonna be an over the top game from a truly great and amazing developer. Can't wait for the release.
Anyone else chuckle at how he made excuses for not being able to remember the guy's name, but he had no problem remembering the girl's?
At about 09:40 when Neil's talking about the relationship between the two characters it totally drew me back to the movie 'The Road' with Viggo Mortensen.
And I'm really excited about this game too. Seems like a really good combination between typical Naughty Dog trademarks (lush environments, superb animations and lighting) and good, honest brutal writing. Definately excited, and this comes from someone who really isn't that big on survival-horror games.
its so annoying that when x360 or pc get a better version of a game, or an exclusive, or their game runs better with more features they get all cocky towards all the ps3 players, and now there's another really good ps3 exclusive and they still go: "I want"
but yeh, it does look very good
I'm curious how they are going to handle death. Are there checkpoints? A quicksave file? Or maybe camps that you save at?
hey, i forgot your name... because she is sitting next to you and well.... look at her game looks good
Man I'm so excited for this. I don't understand if the brutal CQC is a one button press setup where multiple animations play out depending on what objects are near & what kind of weapon they're holding. Or if it's just a bunch of set piece cinematics where you have to hit buttons that pop up on screen. Whatever, looks amazing.
I really want to know whether or not that one part where Elli comes in and stabs the dude in the back was predetermined. It'd be awesome if the chance of that happening is kind of 50/50. Just thinking "Oh crap! I'm pinned! I hope Elli is close enough to distract this guy!" would be fantastic and really help bring up the tension of possibly dying.
Seems like a better version of the game I'm Alive that has recently launched. Definitely getting it.
i still don't understand some of the action sequences. are they scripted, quick time events, or playable?
Hey guys look at the top, you won't believe it. It's one of those um how do you say "health bars". Have not seen one of those in a long time in a shooter.
Yayyyyyy!!! More ultra-violence!!!!!d bkgabgklsbdgk. afgiarehgkluaenrvbb
I wish people would make some different games like a mystery game.
@pozium I think they're owned by Sony, so it's not really their fault.
Really loved this part as well but I watched another video off Youtube which was a different demo (it has subtle differences with the E3 stage demo) and it was the exact same thing when Ellie threw the brick at the guy so I'm a little worried that it was actually a very short cut-scene that began when your character ran out of bullets and hid behind the couch. As opposed to Ellie instinctively as an AI throwing that brick. I don't know if I'm making sense. :)
@D1S Totally agree...
@themuffinman49 I wouldn't say they all get cocky. But I'm a 360 owner and yes I do believe the multiplatform games are better on the 360 but I give the ps3 has way better exclusives. There are lots of games on ps3 I would LOVE to have on the 360
@Boogiebot220 I was wondering the same thing about CQC. I'm hoping it's not just a bunch of quick time events. Can't wait to see more of this game!
@bernstein1986 It looks so good I at first thought it was scripted because of the cinematic camera angles of the unfolding action, but I think they've just merged them together so well that it'll plan out differently but always feel like a cinematic experience. Which is great!
@TKavney92 Sony owns the developer.
The only Sony games that are also on PC are developed by Sony Online Entertainment.
PS3 exclusive already been confirmed.
