I've got the PC version of Butcher's Bay early last year from my local game shop bargain bin but hardly played it as I moved over to gaming on Xbox 360 only. It was pretty good stuff though, so I'm looking forward to this HD remake, especially as it has just as much additional content again! I heard elsewhere (Xbox Live I think!) you will be able to play Butcher's Bay then Dark Athena, or you can choose to jump straight into Dark Athena from the menu. In case anybody has not played the game: it's set in the same 'universe' with the same main character as the films Pitch Black & Chronicles Of Riddick, but it's not actually based on either of those films, being set before both of them.
The films were awesome, and something tells me that this game will a GOTY nominee if not the winner.
I think i must by 500 giga HD in my PC and 4 giga RAM. but I have HD3850 512 mb. is.....is.......is that good?????? for 2009 booom games
To Benzo396, Chronicles of Riddick movie has been made in 2004. But I have no idea is that related to game happenings anyhow.
I can't wait for this game to come out. I loved Escape From Butcher Bay. That game went to Iraq with me when I was deployed back in 2004 and it got scratched up from the desert sand, so I had to buy another one. I still play that game till this day. Now they have a new one coming. They need to make an Escape From Butcher Bay Movie.
HOLY CRAP Escape from Butcher bay was awesome cant wait for this, Ill buy it this time since its got multiplayer not d/l it.
It looks decent, but at the same time I would worry. How many times am I going to play through that game before I get bored of it? How many different aspects of stelth kills are there? And there is a striking resemblance to Turok (360), in terms of graphics, camera style, and gameplay. Maybe a rent would serve me better then a purchase.
I was afraid this re-make was going to get canceled and now it's back and stronger than ever. This is such good news, can't wait for the next movie too.
