I want mohawk for Shepherd! (I create my own character don't like going with default)... PRE-ORDERED
Lets just hope they get rid of those ridiculously long loading screens in ME2 in ME3 (No long elevator rides either).
@xsonicchaos I don't understand. How does a simple mis-spelling result in my never having played the games? Mass Effect is definately my favourite gaming series ever. I hope, however, that they didn't make the mistake they made with the last Deus Ex and Splintercell games. I don't want them to turn an iconic hero into a total bad-ass (I apologize if I affended any Deus Ex or ME fans)
simply AMAZING trailer and for @devils-DIVISION i'm agree with you hope some day all the games looks so reall ;)
@airforcetech999 you must be with the reapers! @carthaginian5 you probably meant to say melanoma, not Melania. obviously you know nothing of Mass Effect universe. play them first, form opinions later.
@devils-DIVISION agreed, i personally think console makers & game engine firms betrayed gamers by not pushing technology further & faster. Since when we've been saying "i can't wait till game look just ilke the cinematics" I'm sure we are capable with 22nm chips we have these days.
This will be incredible, i want to find out however why Earth is so important when the universe is so vast, that aspect doesn't make much sense to me but i hope the game will explain it further.
"Come and see!" I looked and there before me was a pale horse! Its rider was named Death, and Hades was following close behind him." -Bible I think the Bible forgot to mention the N7 Insignia on his armor.
@Breyant haha No kidding. I saw that after I received 6 thumbs down lol. I meant to say many decades into the future.
One thing I don't understand is Mass Effect 1 and 2 took place several decades, Melania into the future. This looks to close to current day Earth, but with geth. Also, Shepard is to 'bad-ass' in this game. I look forward to playing it, however, but It doesn't seem to deserve the ME title, In my opinion.
When Shepard and the entire human fleet attacked, I nearly peed myself it was that epic! Cannot wait for this game, KILL ALL REAPERS!
March 6 will be a bittersweet date. The Mass Effect games are among the best experiences I have had, ever. Kinda don't want this trilogy to end.
From 02:00 onward is like take Earth back, and give it to the Heavens... Can't avoid see it again and again and again!!!
Great game, I wonder why Gamespot doesn't have a dedicated page for Mass effect 3. It does for a lot many titles.
@carthaginian5 I think you might be confusing Mass Effect with Star Wars. Mass Effect 1 takes place in 2183.
will there be CG cinematic scenes like that in game? Or it is just made for merchandising? I wonder that... Don't remember having those in the previous ones.
@wizzard4all The number of pixels on the screen don't make a trailer. The rest of your comment makes you sound like a noob.
Still, I think that the ME2 trailer that used Heart of Courage was more epic. Aside from TSfH's Dragon Rider, I can't think of a more epic soundtrack on earth.
I like this trailer for several reason: (1) It uses Two Steps from Hell. (2) I saw Makos. (3) I see different types of reapers. (4) I see much butt being kicked. I hope to see more open environments than ME2. While good, it didn't feel as open or natural as ME1.
damn!! better than action movies!! if this game delivers the mass effect franchise will be among the elite.
@scarletsnake Your comparing apples to oranges here. Mass Effect being a story driven action RPG, and Halo, a First Person Shoot-em-up. The point your trying to make is "oh they are attacking earth, been there done that, so Bioware's gotta be milking its fan base like Bungee." Well your opinion is flawed and subjective purely for the fact that the game isn't even out yet, and the last two games were incredible.
Same crap year in year out. Anyone remember the original Halo3 trailer? Kids playing suddenly Earth comes under attack, and the leap at the end... Yeah... Can't believe how many people like this kind of cheesy crap. It's a technical marvel but inside, at it's core, where it matters; it's empty. Bioware has become one of "those" developers. Their new games pale in comparison to their old classics.
I'm Commander Shepard, and I'm here to blast your sorry Reaper ass*s back to dark space!!! The war is on!!!
