I wasn't interested in this game at all, but I think because I had no expectations I'm actually pleasantly surprised by this game... I doubt I'd pay full price but if this was a downloadable game I would give it a try. Looks pretty hilarious, a nice spoof on all the zombie games out nowadays ...
I cant tell if this game is aimed at virgin gamers who cannot approach women or "girl gamers" who want to pretend it is them(it's not, you're overweight and no one likes you)
Everyone saying this looks horrible apparently aren't getting the gag. In a industry choked with generic first person shooters we need MORE creative, off the wall, campy games like this. Enjoy your stale crap, I'll be playing this fantastic game. The over the top style is worth the price of admission alone.
"Boughten" isn't a word.
For people who make their $$$ Writing reviews, they seem to be terrible at english.Drop outs maybe?
God I want to buy this game but not for $60. I don't want to spend $60 on any game. I hate capitalism.
This is so...weird. I would almost expect Suda51 to be a part of this due to its general strange flavor.
looks fucking amazing. day one buy. hell, preorder. suda 51 always comes up with amazing games. anyone who is fed up with fps #200 needs to support unique games like this.
HOLY SH*T!! This game looks terrible! Better be a download of £10 or less to hope to get a single sale haha
Don't care what any of you say. This game looks fantastic. It will surely become a timeless classic. One of the best games ever even.
I somehow had a strong feeling ever since this game was announced and the first footage was posted,that the actual gameplay of this game will be repetitive and boring as f***,regardless of what you think of the rest of the aspects of the game.
Super hot girls wearing super short skirts and using super big chainsaws to slay zombies, and yet they manage to screw it somehow.
I had zero interest in this game to begin with, but this demo laid to rest any lingering questions I may have had.
These are the games you avoid paying 60 dollars for.
Its good to see new games doing something different but this Is not for me.
The combat does not look satisfying & the visuals are very dated.
Oh My God... "Boughten"??? REALLY???
Still interested in the game, though! Looks like a laugh, and i have faith in Suda51 & especially James Gunn!!!
I don't care playing an overly ridiculous game, as long as is interesting, with appeal to the graphics, music and controls. This one here will be or a total fail or the next big thing. But it's hard to tell yet...
The principled gamer in me says this is a really horrible title... but the self-indulgent and materialist gamer in me says this a totally awesome title.
Haven't seen the video yet. The reason i'm interested in this is because of Suda 51 developing it. I really liked Shadows of the Damned last year and have high hopes that this will be good if not better than SotD.
You hate capitalism because a game is $60? I don't think that word means what you think it means.
You can get it for $45 on Amazon.
@Zandri he is!
@Trainer_Red I get what your saying. I think all of us "true game lovers" are feeling what your feeling. This game is not the game to be ranting about however. Its not distasteful Its supposed to be satirical. Zombies are played out, that's whats funny about there being zombies in this game. Yeah the main character is extremely sexualized, but that's whats funny about it. Sure non gamers are going to look at a think its distasteful but us true game nerds know whats really going on hear. Its satire on games. Think Bayoneta. By the way, who really cares what other people think about the game industry or just people who play games. Those judgmental people will never understand games if their just looking at one like this and using it as an example on whats wrong with games or the people who play them.
I personally see this game as a breath of fresh air in this AAA day and age of seeing the same things over and over again. Can you name one game that's like this one?
I could go on forever.
@Trainer_Red Def agree with the last part of your rant
@GavinUK86 Yes! I really should buy this day one. I just hate that $60 price tag.
@Joey2cool Yes,this game does look fun and i will definitely get this it's amazing how people are giving it a bad word already.I can remember when dead rising was coming out and everyone ragged on it and now lots of people love the game.It's something different. This is why the market is being flooded with first person shoots because as gamers most don't give games like this a chance at all but i'll bet that all whom said they won't buy this will be getting cod bo2 even though the game is the continuation of the story they should have finished in the first game.come on people give the game a chance and stop letting dev creativity die because of first person shooters.The old days brought great games that's what the ps2 brought so lets bring that back to everyone.
@elsuavio Hm, or maybe you just don't get what I meant by what I said. I wasn't very descriptive. I hate the free market and I don't like the way prices are dictated. The way this game was made was through a publisher who is only interested in making a profit on what they funded before they even knew what it was going to make. Most of what that $60 price tag is going towards is distribution, retail and marketing costs. The publisher actually only makes something like a 15 dollar profit if they sell as many units as they where hoping to sell. The people that worked on this game don't actually own their creation, Warner Brothers does.
By the way, you can use the word capitalism as a synonym for varies things seeing as how its not refereeing to anything specificity. The actual definition however refers to how everything is corporately or privately owned (I'm sure you know which of these I'm referring to as I say "I hate capitalism") and how prices are dictated by investments costs.
Listen, I'm not an economist or anything so I don't understand the finer details, but what I do know is that I hate the competitive market. I'm not saying everything should be owned by the government but I do think there's a better way to distribute art and creativity and its not through publishers over pricing it. However, whoever has the gold makes the rules.
I'm just glad this game is being made and not just another call of duty, halo, gears of war, or god of war clone. At least Warner Brothers took a risk in putting out something that's different enough to stand out of the crowd.
Feel free to point out how stupid I sound because I really don't know what I'm talking about. Like I said I'm not an economist and I really don't like money. I'm much more of an art enthusiast.
@gameguy182 Spot on dude!
