Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix Tournament Part 6
Watch the finals of GameSpot's Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix tournament held in San Francisco.
It's probaly going to boil down to Jon Choi vs. Paul Eathe in the final round. I'm really disappointed that Wolfe lost. He used Zangief. Come on dude, Zangief against Sagat? Dude, what were you thinking? Wolfe is very good at Vega and I didn't understand why he didn't use a faster character. I don't care how good you are at Zangief, you cannot use Zangief against an uppercut brother with fireballs and can do a tiger knee at you when you try to grab them. Wolfe made a bad decison on this one. However, I think guys that it boils down to this Jon Choi=Sagat Vs. Paul Eathe= Guile. This will only available in the bonus round as they mentioned so let's see what happens after the final round. I hope Jon loses cuz he really sucks and he's cocky and I don't like him using Ryu.
Good match guile player deserved to win. Anyone here disagree we can settle it in a match GT= RELLIK 1S1K
the guy who played Guile didn't do the same crap that the Vega guy done. all Vega did was low claw, sweep and occasional roll claw...guile just adapted his tactics to deal with that crap and deserved to win.
Hmmm although Guile won using pretty safe tactics, he is used as one of the best defensive characters in the game so I think trying to detract from his win by saying he used cheese tactics isn't a fair comment. At the end of the day he played his characters game better hence he won.
Medium sweep > Sonic Boom > medium sweep > Sonic Boom > medium sweep > Sonic Boom > throw > medium sweep > Sonic Boom > medium sweep > Sonic.... *falls into coma* >_>
To: Holb A loss is a loss, there are no excuses. I real winner takes all defeats with stride, and never makes excuses. Graham, lost to Paul, that's it. He may win in the future, but then again, he may lose in a rematch. All speculations of how he should, could, would have won is mute, since he didn't win. At the end of the day, a win is a win, and a loss is a loss. Only time can tell if things will change. Until then Paul Eath deserves all the credit for his victory. Luck or no luck, he's the champion.
Garham should have won if he used his main. Claw is nerfed in this version too bad and guile is considered top tier now. Paul sounded like a random cocky guy no one has heard of. He got lucky. The Evo vets being not use to the frame data and game play of the new version and old version too much in there mind. Let's see this rematch in about a few weeks and Wolfe would destory him. And anyone who crys about cheesy or cheap needs to L2P.
Why is it ok for the Paul guy to do sonic booms over and over but it's not ok for Graham to do dash punches over and over?
damn, I loved this tournament, I also was glad paul won, cause I was tired of all those dash punches, that was all he ever did in all the tournament
