Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix Tournament Part 1
Check out part one of the Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix tournament from community game night here at the GameSpot offices in San Francisco!
strategy and passion is key to beating everyone in fighting games i would know because everyone lined up in the arcades to challenge me in x-men vs street fighter and they all looked dissapointed and looked at me mad everytime I beat them but of course I had a calm face and my body movement showed respect everytime and that's why they backed away and walked out of the arcade. they just came back to challenge me again putting quarter after quarter I showed no fear and didn't hold back on anyone all types of people all races i was 10 or 11. of course i stayed the same but nomore x-men vs street fighter arcade in the arcades.
The game looks....really quick to me, like...way too fast maybe. I've been playing for years and I like more balanced speed. Also, I seriously doubt when they practice at home they use those types of gamepads. I play Sreet Fighter all the time and I would TANK on one of those joysticks.
Its not the sticks they were using. Hori sticks are pretty much the best sticks you can get without aftermarket modification. The problem was the skill of the players, not the sticks.
Wish I'd known about this in advance because I definitely would have been there. I may very well have spent that night playing SFII Turbo on my SNES.
The biggest thing that scared me was how everyone was messing up hadoukens and Shoryukens. God, I hope proper arcade sticks are made, and not the crap that they were using.
They´re obviously waiting for SFIV to come out and release them both very close to each other... totally sucks
They just wanted to show off the fact that they have it and we don't. these guys suck so bad at this game i wanna punch 'em in the neck.
I can't even watch the whole video without getting pissed off! If it's ready to be played, why the hell isn't it out on the networks yet?!!
Wow, nice that the game is bug-free enough to quality for tournament play but Microsoft still hasn't released it. Gotta love Microsoft's certification process.
That was the most pathetic SF2 tourney I have ever seen. None of the players seemed to know what they were doing. What a waste.
