Shogun 2: Total War Developer Diary Part 2
Here's the second half of the developer diary video.
Look at them talking about EMPIRE as the greatest achivement in history. The game was a disapointment, not bad, but not what was expected. Lots of bugs, few factions playable, only one period of time, and of course lots of DLC.
Not only would releasing the tools be a good idea, it encourages the web community to create. Look at Star Craft.
You know, Empire and Napoleon didn't hold my interest as much as the prior games, and I wasn't sure how interested in Shogun 2 I would be. But after play the demo and listening to the Creative Assembly discussing the series' development, I'm pretty enthused about it.
I wished the crew would talk about Shogun 2 Total War but now I feel like I want more of how the process was for them and how difficult it was to be accurate for the game. But hey, they might do a third "behind the scenes".
