Relationship - Amy Gameplay Video
This video delves deeper into the relationship between Amy and Lana, the main characters who find themselves in the small town of Silver City.
@Blackheart_RE No, we cant judge it by a single person's opinion, but we can try to judge it by a multitude of people's opinions, and if the opinions seem to lean in one direction more often than not, we can assume that that opinion is mostly correct. Or at least, correct based on our own likes and preferences.
I like it and will probably get it, even though combat and running around look awkward :p we need more games like this.
This reminds me a lot of Siren: Blood Curse, which was a good game that sadly got overlooked. "Amy" has that same creepy atmosphere but with more emotion and attachment between the characters. It -could- be something great so I'll keep an eye on it to be sure. I do have high hopes for it.
yeah, this game has soem potential, i really like how it goes, i just hope the story is good, btw i really like how he talks ... his voice is calm just perfect for describing the game feature same as the ones that made the script ... simple an to the object
@s_h_a_d_o That is interesting. Incidently, Mr. Cuisset is also was integral in Flashback, seen as a Prince of Persia clone. Like to know more about the Tomb Raider settlement since Fade to Black came out first, but he seems really good at taking elements from other games and applying them in part to another game. Hope nothing keeps down the creative aspect of this game.
Hey I have just watched about a minute and twenty-seconds and I see some similarities in this game that seem to be close to the Dead Space series with the health bar on the back and in Bioshock with the little kid like with the little sister's in the Bioshock series where you send the little kid off to press a button or something and I do know the little sister's went off and harvested some plasma from dead corpses, maybe I'm reading too much into it, but those are the 2 similarities that see in this game as I have never played the ICO so I can not judge on that.
Paul Cuisset, who is responsible for this game, was embroiled in controversy back in the late nineties when his game Fade to Black (sequel to his earlier Flashback) was seen to bear an inordinate similarity to the Tomb Raider franchise, resulting in "punishment of the developers for plagiarism and copyright infringement" (although which company was actually at fault is unclear, as information on the actual outcome is scarce). With AMY there has already been some comparisons made to the hand-holding mechanism seen here, and that same mechanism as coined by Fumito Ueda and employed in his masterpiece, Ico.
