PlayStation State Of Play Announced Ahead of Summer Games Fest | GameSpot News

Sony announced a new PlayStation State of Play and revealed two new TV shows, Mario Strikers: Battle League gets an online demo and Nintendo Switch Online gets 3 new classic games.

Sony has announced a new PlayStation State of Play airing next week, promising new announcements including games for the PSVR2. The event, which is said to run for roughly 30 minutes, will take place on Thursday, June 2 at 3 PM PT / 6 PM ET and we will be streaming it right here on the GameSpot YouTube channel.

In other Sony news, the company announced two new TV shows during an earnings presentation Q&A. The shows include, a God of War TV series is coming to Amazon and a Horizon series is being made for Netflix.

In Nintendo news, a Switch demo for Mario Strikers: Battle League online mode will go live from June 3 and until June 5. Anyone with a Nintendo Switch Online membership can access the demo, and the tutorial section of the game is now live--for Expansion Pass members--so that you can get some practice time in.
