GameSpot takes pro-athletes and puts them head-to-head with their teammates and pro-gamers to battle it out on the Xbox One. Who's going to come out on top? Tune in to find out. Sponsored by Microsoft.
devoted vegan? bullshit. don't tell me he's grown these muscles on veggies only. it's biologically not possible.
Great show. It's nice to see these points of view of a game. Also, it was nice to see someone not rip on RYSE. The combat mix of blocking, rolling out (they didn't tap into that here), and varied attacks makes RYSE a wonderful experience.
This show is great but it would be greater if it wasn't so Xbox biased. It's not as powerful as PS4 and while I'm not biased, it reeks of nationalism.
8:46 oh man, did he just say that an amateur wrestler wouldnt stand a chance against him in a wrestling match as hes a professional wrestler? Oh man, thats some delusion right there. Does he not realize pro wrestling is fake?? And that top world class amateur wrestler's are the in fact the real deal, and in reality would break him in two halves in a real wrestling match?
why is player vs gamer not on front page, if i miss the show on the first day , i have to go find the show in the search functions. that isnt fair, she will get less views compared to the shows that have a permanent spot on the front page like the point , gta diaries etc.
Someones gotta look out for Jessica, you know. So can you fix this Gamespot.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7_CnQvJmwgg That pretty much answers everything lol
What is this crap supposed to be, IGN? This is exactly the kind of content I do my best to avoid. It might be time to send that "unsubscribe" email.
Its kinda sad that this is all just an xbox 1 promotional video underneath it all. Its a game that they murdered hard on reviews (so did everyone else) and now its being played as a decent game on a great console (that gamespot has reviewed as so-so). Oh well. Get paid!
I hate to sound like a conspiracy douchebag but it is what it is.
Never imaged I'd see AA (that's "A double", not "double A") and Chobot together, but that was a lot of fun!
It's the Chinese symbol for aries "meaning a ram" which is his last name, but it is also the symbol for a goat and sheep. When he Wrestles in Asia he comes out wearing a sheeps mask. It's pretty funny.
I find Austin Aries to be surprisingly amusing - and here I thought meat-heads are predictable people. :P
for one, it's not Chris who reviewed Ryse: The Son of Rome. Mark Walton did.
Different people can have different opinions, even if they endorsed one
of their own colleagues' opinions as the "official" GameSpot review. Even Kevin vanOrd still liked the game enough to produce a guide for the game's "highest" difficulty.
I honestly find it weird how pro female gamers are good looking and yet pro male gamers look like they've never seen the sun in their life.
@wearelegion5000 lol come on, you need to do more research on what roided up athletes look like.
@jellystanchina Of course they didn't rip on it...the whole feature is Xbox sponsored - you don't think that's really what they wanted to say, do you?
@swinehouse They have to pay the athletes somehow, having sponsors like Microsoft is the only way to do it.
@swinehouse What the fuck.
@amar1234 That's Austin Aries and he is a great freaking wrestler. Just because you have some preconceived notion about professional wrestling does not mean that some of these guys don't know how to actually wrestle. The next time you type, make sure it's not out of your $$.
Indeed, I get the impression that it is. If so, so what? If Microsoft paid for the promotion, then it has gotten what it get - a promo video with celebs to appeal to the shallow and idol-worshippers.
You and your other people like you may think that this is a problem, but I don't. Service paid for, service rendered - plenty fair to me.
Huh? Did i miss something?
My guess is you've got a serious chip on your shoulder just itching to flex that "moral authority" muscle.
...Go home with your hateful BS.
I see that you still have that hipster rebel streak - still painting anything that GameSpot does in a bad light.
Underneath? It was pretty upfront. This entire video was essentially an advertisement what a waste of time.
I think I'll stick with jess McDonell and Kevin van Ord videos from now on.
@MattyTheButcherHard to disagree. They should have alternated between X1, PS4 and Wii U. It'd be so much better. I still find it entertaining though; mostly because of the interesting characters they've managed to find, and the fact that the players actually have some game knowledge helps.
Well, if Microsoft or Crytek paid for promotion, then this is service rendered. Plenty fair, I would say - and to me, the awkwardness is entertaining. :P
(I do wish that the guests and Chobot could have alluded to the official GameSpot review though - that would have been even more amusingly awkward.)
/faceplam a pro wrestling fan trying tell me about wrestling and real fighting , omfg. STFU,. You obviously have no clue about real world wrestling. Pro wrestling IS NOT REAL FIGHTING. Omfg you are so dense.
Next time you post make sure you dont type out your a$$. As i can personally guarantee he cant even beat a college level amatuer wrestler let alone an Oylmpic level werstler. Look at Brock lesnar hes 100 times the fighter AA is and one of the few real wrestlers in pro wrestling and even he didnt fare that well in real fighting.
Ps i just checked AA bio, and hes has no high school or college level wrestling background. So how can you say hes a great wrestler rofl? What cause he looks good in Pro wrestling?? dude thats not real wrestling. man you are dumb.
Indeed, this video doesn't - it's just a promotional video at face value.
I will still say that you are eager to find excuses to lambast GameSpot with.
