The entire world:

*Logs back on to Minecraft, Terraria, Fez, Shovel Knight, ETC.*

There is a 1:33 I will never get back. How people still play this crap is beyond me. There are so many awesome games to get lost in yet people play this... I will never understand and I don't want to.

"Seriously which one is the new one?" Uh its pretty obvious...unless your seriously BLIND...

Be lucky the game is getting any improvement at all. Geeze I swear some people will complain about anything.

My favorite part of the video was the dancing. What song is that?

i'v dropped wow since last september, they had not added any new content since that, servers are still low populated, and next expansion will have same problems , beside next x pac cost more that previous ones even...

Looking great! The character models have been due for an upgrade for a long time now.

The male orc voices need to change though. They sound too quiet and feeble to be orcs, especially compared to their boisterous, if not goofy, Warcraft 3 counterparts.

One need only look at the Art direction from 1995 to the release of Warcraft III to see that aesthetically, Blizzard designers had made up their mind on how Warcraft was going to look.

This model update was not about aesthetics. It was about cleaning up the expressions, the gestures and smoothing out the models with more detail and more polygons. Nothing more.

For that most players will be happy. I am.

I wouldve kept the original female orcs face, looked better than the new one.

The female model on the right looks like she had her nasolabial folds carved in with a jack hammer. It adds about 15 to 20 years to her face without even trying. She looks like some orc's chain smoking, middle aged aunt dancing next to her younger, dumb faced niece. If that's supposed to be the same face model as the one on the left, they dorked it up pretty bad.

I'm not at all inspired by this to go back to WOW.

Glad to know they haven't gone mental with it. Such changes would change the world for the players who enjoy it too much, plus the changes might be small but when you have 100 people all chatting in a trade district it will add up. People don't have internets and computers for that which is why they were playing WoW to start with most likely.

Just 5 years too late. Now, overhaul the rest of Azeroth and Outland.

It says "shaping up," so I guess it's a new expansion? By the looks of it, more like 2005 though.

@Xanitra you fail to see the reason why they doing it. We all know Blizz can push the envelope to make the game look better. However, they choose not to because not everyone have a computer that can run HD quality game. If they would push the graphic to it max, about half of their player base will drop immediately.

im guessing the right one is the "improved" one. Because the "shadows"/shades are more faded. But aeastethically, they look the same. Guessing Blizzard don't want to lose their main playerbase, which are the mainstream ones that don't necessarily have good enough computers to run real improved graphics.

@hitomo Yeah I've been thinking about trying that as well. I am in a massive backlog of games though at the moment. An MMO wouldn't help in the slightest.

@zoeyleft @dannydopamine8 you got a point but if you do a really good job you even a game with decent graphic can run really well without having problems,I tried wildstar and another mmo both with graphic superior to wow and my pc is  very basic, the issue here is that to make a new engine would cost money and  A LOT, 1st it's about making 1, 2nd is about testing and implementing both in studio and on the field, now I don't even want to think how much of an headache that would case to make, expecially when you have so many people watching, so it's also a financial issue, in my opinion they'll keep it like that as long as people keep playing wich in my opinion is a bit lame, althought on a financial view I'd say it's k.
