New Releases - Nov. 14, 2011
This week we check out Assassin's Creed: Revelations, Super Mario 3D Land, Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, Saints Row: The Third, Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, and Jurassic Park: The Game.
I was really looking forward to Saints Row 3. Initially I didn't care. But then I watched the trailers. Now I'm back to square 1. I had a look at the associated SR3 content on XBL marketplace. For the full experience I need to pay for the following: - Online pass (ok, this might come in the box) - A cheats unlock which gives access to exclusive weapons and power ups (what?!) - The Season ticket which give me a 'discount' on the cost of all the DLC COME ON! What the f**k is this!? Maybe I should just give them my bank account details and tell them to take what they like. Or then again, maybe I just won't pay for a content stripped product. Happy to wait for this one to appear in the bargain bucket. At this rate it's heading there fast.
Poor Anno 2070, coming out thursday yet has zero marketing, no sites even list it as existing, stinks for the developer...I blame Ubisoft. They should flush Ubisoft and publish directly through Steam. Anyway, for those who don't know, the predecessor Anno 1404/Dawn of Discovery was an amazing historical, city-building/economic game.
Im ready for Saints Row....I have beer in the cooler near to the couch, extra pillows and TV and xbox turn on.....
Can't wait Getting saints row 3 , dynasty warriors 7 xl, ultimate marvel vs capcom 3 ,& halo anniversary tonight at GameStop!!!
