am i the only one who notices how BAADDD his driving is? xD (and i completed the game, so i know how the handling is ;) )
The game is awful. Nothing but a Burnout Paradise copy .
I would love to see EA make Underground 3 ! With tons of more tuning!
The handling would be a bit of simulation, not like this Most Wanted - a 120% arcade, where you can take a corner easly, while driving 280 km/h !
Take a look at Codemasters. When they were making DIRT 3, they based the game on what the players want and not what a fuzzy old guy wants, while sitting in his leather chair, behind a suit.
LISTEN TO THE PEOPLE - this is what we wanted a LONG time ago - MAKE AN UNDERGROUND 3 !!!
I played the game using the time trial with PS+. And the game just seems to be missing something, a soul maybe.
The gameplay on the demo is the same as criterion a burnout paradise. Stating the obvious but this feels like a sequel and a not very good on without crash mode of earlier burnouts
I am one of those few people that isn't blinded by the glint of arguably-good graphics so you can probably guess what I have to say about just-another racing game...
40 cars to start out with in a new game is a joke anyway. These cars should have been in the game to begin with. plus about forty more.
Am I the only one who finds it funny that half of these cars are DLC in every NFS game? C'mon EA, at least try to hide it...
10 bucks for 5 virtual cars? No thanks. I hate these silly DLCs. Even big games started to use this micro-transaction disease.
Apart from the Lambo, not really interested. Add in Toy cars and Bikes and I'll bite, this is mostly Burnout after all..
CORIIIIIIIIIIINTHIANS CORIIIIIIIIIIINTHIANS CORIIIIIIIIIIINTHIANS
WE ARE THE CHAMPINOS
This game was fun until the AI for the civilian traffic became self-aware and made sure a hundred vehicles were sent my way whenever I tried to enjoy it.
(The autoplay feature on this site is so freaking annoying. It's a standard setting why? Hopefully it's to get people to unintentionally watch more of Gamepsot's videos because otherwise it's a bad design. If I wanted autoplay I would choose it. Forcing me to keep my eye on the video at the end instead of scrolling through the comments is a nuisance.)
ANYWAYS! The driving in the demo made it a bit difficult to get a nice feel for the new cars (as good as a feel can get by simply spectating). The cars are definitely cool looking though.
I just sold my copy to amazon during friday's deals special. I never even finished the game so I don't care about more forgettable grind. What terrible design that you don't care anything about a car after 5 standard races...
Looks nice. But I laready finished the game, had an amount of fun and this DLC dosen't give much reason for me to go back in to this game. Good news for people playing multiplayer.
Thought I don't believe this DLC worth as much as $9.99
@MikeLitoris Definitively you're not alone
@Abele The cynical developers said that before launch.Seems that EA pushed them to make a Burnout with "Most wanted" title on it.
i could only bring myself to try the free demo for the PS3 but i agree.
EA has to be kidding to charge people for this garbage.
It looks and plays more like a tech demo with no redeeming qualities at all. I couldn't even play the demo for more than 5 mins before turning it off.
This game is an insult to peoples intelligence in every way.
Reviewers that gave this a high review must have been paid to.
Personally I think this is quite an awesome game because i really wanted a burnout paradise sequel but i have to agree with you that they should really make Underground 3 :)
@ch0reb0y because it's a sad remake with the name of "Need for Speed" on it to make $$$. It's EA Games, what'd you expect?
@Virtual_Erkan Forza 4 had a better pricing scheme for the DLC. $6 for 10 cars, $20 for the Porsche pack ($15 for VIP members).
@marceloadazzio good for you, but I'm an Arsenal fan so I'm just replying to lol @ Chelsea.
@ControlSchemes You can turn autoplay off under the resolution setting.
The game is strongly centered around multiplayer. It was still fun and a good way to waste some time.
@Labakais have you played the game? crashing is a constant headache in the game, then you get punished with that stupid slowmo camera.
@ICE_PREDATOR True. Burnout was a sad enough remake as it is. It always blew my mind there was no crash mode.
@ahpuck @Labakais Yes, that slowmo camera!! That is definitely my biggest gripe with this game. Certain games will tempt it's users to frequently pause and restart, NFS MW is one of those games. Unfortunately, for some awful reason, when you crash, you are forced to finish watching the crash in slowmo. That is super frustrating at times. When I crash is usually when I choose to restart the most.
@ahpuck Yes I have. Braking/drifting is always an option :)
