i think...till..now..need for speed..i like the most...underground..!!.....but haven't played...most wanted..!!.."hearing bad rumors"..^_^!...
It seems that they are so confident that fans will continue to endure this torture. Instead of taking the time to create a storyline to blows us away they show us another burnout. Honestly, what the hell is wrong with this picture. Nfs most wanted in solemnly base on on story not how well the crash system is. I am glad i didnt buy the last one. Undercover was the last game i bought so frigging disappointing. And now they come with this mess grrr... fu@@@k!!!!!!!
3 games pop in mind:*NFS Most Wanted
and all three combined ... what a sh*tty combination !!!
F*CK, EA GAMES, WE WANT UNDERGROUND 3 !!!! FREEROAM, DRIFTING, DRAG RACES, LOADS OF CARS and mostly PLENTY and PLENTY OF MORE TUNING THAN IN UNDERGROUND 2 !!!
The last 3 NFS games are almost the same! Hot Pursuit, The Run and this Most Wanted - all Burnout Paradise like, all the time unnaturaly, very high speed, arcadish driving style...
Sorry, EA, but you just lost a customer ... i held on to you barely after NFS Carbon ... Shifts were pretty nice, the rest was crap ... but this is just too much! I'm OUTTA HERE !!!
GameSpot might give the game a decent score but NFS Fans I'm pretty sure their gonna give it a low low score
Need for speed is dead . no matter how you mix it and no matter how much spice you put into it .. To revive this franchise you need something innovative . How about Need For Speed Future .. For example : customize of cars on the go like engine , tires or complete make over while you are in the race .
hey burnout paradise fans..this has got to be the best news ever!! anyways..i love paradise so much i completed twice while helping other people do the challenges.. add me (CRAZIMAX) if you want cause im pretty sure there's gonna be an insane amount of challenges to do in this most wanted game..let me know that you're adding me for burnout or most wanted tho when you message me..btw..does anybody have a higher score than 2.81 BILLION in stunt run in paradise?..if so, can you tell me what's your technique? happy billboard hunting :)
Looks great. Really liked re-make Criterion's remake of the legendary Hot Pursuit. Most Wanted is the best Need For Speed game to come out in the last 7 years. So I am willing to see Criterion's take on Most Wanted.
u guys sayin dat dis game doesnt resemblance the original most wanted r freakin noobs....if u luk closely at the gameplay demo....up can see dat there is the heat level...which was intrduced in 2005 MW...cost to state..which was also in the original...speed capture camera...also first seen in the 2005 MW...only thing they hadnt showd is the customisation...(which btw is goin to roots...as the eariest NFS games didnt hav customisation) nd the storyline...which i think may or may not be dere....
Its really nice for them to make another "Most Wanted", and open world racing, but like what others have mentioned...why didn't they show case the car customization? Otherwise this "Most Wanted" will be way too arcade like and too "Burn Out" like as well...Just drive, crash and win?
Isn't this the 3rd 'Most Wanted'??. I'm sick of the confusing naming schemes (COD anyone?). I bought a MW and it turned out to be the old w=one I already had.
I'm glad they've brought back free roam and cops in free roam are fun! Need for speed was never about tuning until Underground! Good job criterion!!
this is total crap. more like Burnout 3 :| so dissappointed ...it's like The Run combined with burnout .. lame
They don't need to put out a game titled "Need for Speed" every year you know, they should have just called it Burnout: Most Wanted by the look of things, and they haven't put out a proper Burnout since Paradise.
Just because we the fans have been begging for Most wanted all these years, doesn't mean you slap the name on something that barely resembles the original. That's not fan service.
I'm seeing normal cars with not even as much as a decal on them... if this picture doesn't change buy October 30th, I'll just be buying the original NFS Most Wanted off the PS Store instead. I nearly bought it recently, but now that I see this I'll hold out to decide which one.
what bothers me in need for speed series is car physics. its so repulsive to me that i simply cant play it. the last nfs that was really awesome for me was porsche unleashed. most wanted wasnt all that bad, but everything since is rubbish imo. dont wanna be harsh on nfs, there isnt any driving games thats worth playing atm on the market. i had high hopes for dirt 3, but i have a feeling i spend more time in its menues than racing. physics is not very good also. so im hoping this one will be a very much needed change for me, but ill rather prepare for a fail even though it lookes quite good from the gameplay we saw.
Autolog was the biggest fail possible in NFS: HP. It was otherwise a solid game, but having Autolog shoved down my throat when hardly anyone was playing online was a bit annoying.
Why would you call it Most Wanted? Why not Black List or something or Most Wanted 2? Its a little odd to have the same title name as another game.
It definitely looks similar to my favorite racing game ever (paradise), but it also looks less...good...
EA and NFS in particular seem to be have been clueless about arcade racers for the past several years and the heavy focus on police chases in this game has me worried just as much as the possibly horrible (yet again) physics.
I really want this to be good as I've waited years to play another great arcade racer XD
what a fail, what's the point in making outstanding visuals and creating a whole city without including pedestrians and social events during the race?
This is going to be extremely lame without car customization. Gameplay looks awesome but no car customization will be a killer for me. I mean that's always been half the fun.
u make it pretty clear that YOU r not an EA/NFS customer...... coz u said dat hot pursuit nd the run were the same...lol....both had different developers.....hot pursuit was the only game Criterion made apart frm the new most wanted.....nd 'the run' was an arcade'ish' game ?..if u really know racing games....the run was more concentrated as a half-simultion rather than an arcade....nd if u OR people like u who claims to be gamers...want a racing game where u can customize more nd race less..then all i hav to say dat u r not lukin for a racing game....as the main concentration abt NFS games was speed...till they interferd with fast and furious-like-customisation to the franchise which brought many clueless noobs-alike-fans nd destroyed the rep.. of the NFs franchise...
@malakadil u freshers never learn
@vanuradavid It's not that it doesn't resemble Most Wanted, most people here are complaining that Criterion's vision for NFS is not the same as the orginal's vision. They want a return to the slightly arcadey racer that allows them to drive the world's fastest cars. This simply is not that, it's also not the original formula mixed with tuner customization that made Underground 1 and 2 hits either. This is Criterion, which means it's a Burnout with the Need For Speed Franchise, and it's Criterion's take on Most Wanted, which means over the top arcade style racing with more emphasis on keeping you on the streets than in the garage. I posted earlier, that this is a day one buy for me since I love Burnout, but I can feel for a lot of the complainers, because I miss the older NFS games too and it seems EA would rather have one critically acclaimed racing title than think that Burnout and NFS can have solid, happy fanbases.
@Edel_Mz hot pursuit 2 and underground 2. nothing better in the series.
@jamyskis There were plenty of people playing online but they had to be on your friend's list; that's the one thing about Autolog that's a shame - you lose that whole global feeling. SSX managed to intergrate it a little better so hopefully this will follow that style.
@superleggera That is exactly how i feel. I will shed a manly tear or 2 if its not in the game
@nuniruro Actually, you're correct. When most people think NFS, they think of car customization and awesome races. When they see this, huge amounts of takedowns and destruction with uncustomisable cars, they think Burnout. People want a proper NFS, not some burnout clone.
They are just gamers who want to see the series cater to them. It's fair and just to ask that games they like have elements they want. I would ask that they not blame Criterion for doing what they do best. Blame Black Box for the direction THEY went with NFS after Most Wanted, or Blame EA for not once looking at the sales of Underground 2, them MW, and then Carbon to see what the heck Black Box was doing wrong. But alas, that's what EA does, you get everything you need until you stop making money, then you're fired or shelved...the classic "fire and forget" publishing house.
