Combat looks like it's a time waster not a challenge, and the puzzles and detective work are simple and obvious. Trial and error alone could progress the story. The gameplay isn't challenging and the game design just adds filler to make progression take longer. This looks like it would make a great film, but in its current design it looks like a terribly tedious game.
In the first trailer he was pulling his gun out of the holster during the... umm... flight. And also when he found the bat, he remembered the killer bent it. In the final scene he just threw it away.
Yeah. I mean its not like a rough around the edges street detective would ever need to carry more than one gun. That is just insanity. Its not like he could ever lose his primary weapon in a tense situation and then find himself completely unarmed and at the mercy of a criminal. Just doesnt sound like a real life scenario you're right. Good catch.
Am i the only one that noticed he was shot with his own gun on the street after falling.. yet the gun is up on the 4th floor.. and when you see him get thrown through the window he clearly has the gun in his hand? :) im just wondering if im the only one that noticed the flaw there.
At first I was in agreement with you and thought he must actually have three guns? >_<
Gun One: I was the one knocked from his hand as he first confronts the killer, which is left on the floor by the door.
Gun Two: He then pulls out another from his trouser belt as he gets picked up and he is thrown through the window.
Gun Three?: Then as he falls from the window, he pulls another from his shoulder holster, (thinking back to the beginning when he is first falling from that window). I am presuming that he didn't have time to holster it during mid-fall, then pull it out again?
So yes, there does appear to be a mistake there but not the one you mentioned, he does have two guns. One in his trouser belt and the other in his shoulder holster.
The mistake is him holding a gun and then holstering it again, only to pull it out around two seconds later!
If anyone reading this and wondering WTF? Then check these out times....
Gun One: 23.25
Gun Two: 23.55
Gun Three?: 01.31
The cigarette part is wrong also... How could his cigarette have just fallen out of his mouth when he had just been thrown around on the 4th floor not more than a minute before it? lol
