Finally. It is about time they made the combat a bit more "complicated." It was stale since Mortal Kombat 2... and I loved MK2..
this game would be great for a couch fighter in the living room on our living room XONE. Killer Instict does a great job, but man both Killer Instinct, AND Mortal Kombat X. Yeah that would be awesome to have for that reason.
Each character in Deadly Alliance on ps2 had 3 different fighting styles. That was the last great MK game
I like the combat system that they implied into Injustice. Never a fan of Mortal Kombat, the Fatality is way too gruesome for me.
really excited for this, can we stop saying 'next gen' though, theres nothing futuristic about the 'new' consoles.... 2010 tech pfft
It doesn't seem to be a live, stage "demo".
However, seeing Kano's glorious fatality in full mostly makes up for it. Also, love the Displacer mode of Raiden and Hellfire mode of Scorpion.
I loved how he asked if the addition of new combat mechanics wouldn't just complicated the game. Unfortunatly that is not the answer I wanted. How can you not make the game more complexe if you start adding BS like 3 differents combat stances per characters, of course it's gonna make more moves to learn you dumb idi ot, how do you intend to keep it as accessable as previous MK games...
Thought Danny would have been first on the chopping board with Tom and Carolyn tbh to be axed. Fair play for keeping his job. GS must be giving him a chance.
@leevonkleef The only thing those different fighting styles added was different combos and... that's that... I don't see how having more fighting styles would make it a great game.
@leevonkleef that was garbage I gave up on mk after that they try to do too much. even the last mk was a big improvement but here they go again...beautiful graphics though
@solid_snake1461 To each their own. The Fatalities can't be gruesome enough in my opinion.
@Morphibiann shut the fvck up and stop being so goddamn technical. It's next gen for consoles who gives a rats ass if the technology is 4 years old on computers
@fer_filipe This is the only place on the entire internet where I can't watch anything smoothly. Wish they'd just let us download and be done with it.
@jack00 Not necessarily. The button combinations could be the same for the 3 different variations, but have different moves associated with them depending on which variation you have chosen. I doubt it is going to be very complicated.
@jack00 I think the point he was trying to make is that the added depth is there for those that take fighting games more seriously, but if you just want to mash buttons with your friends over a couple beers you won't even notice that added depth.
@jack00 idk, you could just grow up.
After bringing him all the way from England, that would be arrogant on Gamespot's part.
@lovely_dime Did they really get laid off? Why?
Good evenin, dude! This is old news. To answer your question, who gives a crap?
From that general area. He's not required, they brought him to the US so he can work there, they most likely promised a stable job. Wouldn't it be awful to fire someone after that? I'm just saying.
