Mirror's Edge - E3 2013 Announcement Trailer
Check out the announcement trailer for Mirror's Edge at E3 2013.
Uh, ok, so the first one was also called Mirror's Edge, so when I talk to someone about the Mirror's Edge game..... Yeah, bad idea. I guess they don't know how to use a numbering system.
aren't security suppose to have guns and also first person parkour? i would like it much if it where third person than again i haven't played the first one so i can't say.
First Mirror's Edge wasn't perfect, but it was memorable.
That's more than I can say for most games this past gen.
There's something about a hot, female, Asian protagonist is so effing badass. Its funny too because even most games coming from Japan rarely have Asian characters. They seem to usually be Japanese-speaking caricatures of white people (non-Asian hair, and massively over-sized eyes).
Glad to see someone's keeping it real... Even if it is EA Games.
I never play the first one but it always catch my attention, maybe this is the time to play it also find it hahaha
Ive been wanting this from EA and starwars battlefront why do you make it at the time i start disliking you?
I know it's a reboot, but come on, it's still a sequel/prequel. Hopefully it doesn't use the exact same name as the first when it launches.
I loved and still have the first one. If it's anywhere near as fun as the first one, I'll be picking this one up too!
@daviz88 A lot of people didn't get the first game because they tried to play it like an action game. Really it should be played like a racer - move across roof tops and skyways as fast as possible - absolutely brilliant fun!
@daviz88 You should play the first one you wont regret.
@daviz88 First one was awesome, they really nailed the feel with the parkour. You should definitely check it out.
@Ripper_TV that's an over-exaggeration, they create good games, people just like to hate them, even people who don't even work there. There are other companies that could be called the worst, the previous company I worked for, as an example.
@Leboyo56 Why do some people resist the idea of rebooting a brand using its original name? Is it too confusing for you?
how to download this game there is no link for download
@NAZIFULLAH it's mirror's edge, why would it be in 3rd person? The first person parts of the trailer were actual gameplay or at least exactly what the gameplay looks like
@DigiRave Except that like it or not, EA actually won the award for worst company in America. 2 years in a row in fact. It's an annual publication by the consumerist. That's what Ripper was talking about.
@Stabba_The_Kutt @Leboyo56 I don't know, maybe because I know so many people who played and love the original Mirror's Edge, so now when we want to talk about this, we have to turn from talking casually to being a bit more serious as we have to be careful or else say "Mirror's Edge...oh yeah, 2014, not 2008". Plus I think it's pretty dumb that EA doesn't want to take the time to rebrand it with a subtitle, or at least -something- a bit more original. And no, I'm not part of the EA hate band-wagon. I just had the same problem with my friends for the Tomb Raider reboot.
@Stabba_The_Kutt @Leboyo56 You're acting like we're all mentally dificient. I know how to say if something is new or not, I just don't like to. I want some variety in naming conventions for this upcoming generation of consoles, and so far it doesn't seem like anything is changing in that department.
@Leboyo56 Well dude, I don't know who these people are that you need to speak so formally, and that get confused so easily, but let me save you guys all a heap of trouble for this and future reboots: You can just refer to them as "the new [insert game title]".
Ex: "The new Mirror's Edge", "The new Mortal Kombat", "The new Tomb Raider", etc. And as a rare bonus, you can also use this trick for game sequels, new consoles and just about anything else: "The new Xbox", "The new Call of Duty", "The new Ford Focus"
