Why does the uk have to pay more than every where else £429 = 671.73 US Dollar and £429 = 504.38 Euro yet they get to pay $499 = 318.44 and 499 = 424.42 euros in there own countries cant believe how biased Microsoft are
i have been an xbox fan since i was 10, but this xbox one i just dont know i mean its really powerfull but the online and used games restrictions made me confused
XOne price: $499, €499, £429.
Converted: $499 = €375 = £318
As a UK customer, I have to ask:
WHY MICROSOFT WHY?
MS have officially rewarded their customer base outside of the US with... nothing. Also, the Xbox TV system. I would like to know what MS plans to provide for international customers. Many of the channels shown in the XOne reveal a few weeks ago are not even available in the UK.
microsoft better have plans to release all its exclusives on both xone and x360 because no one is buying this shit(xbox one)!!!!!
I've gone xbox for the past 2 gens but I feel like i've just gotten a kick in the nuts for my customer loyalty!...sony here i come
I like how
The only thing the Xbox-one has over the PlayStation 4 is the controller. I hate PlayStation controller always have but i think ill be still buying a PlayStation.
YAWN!! looks like another generation of the same ol games with different characters........... how about something original
the akward moment when you the only one clapping and the one of the directores of greedy microsoft , xbox one u suck ;) Ps4 wins :)
Lol looks like they had some stumbles on the day, but the games and the console look good - and so does Sony's offerings.
omg, this video is so funny! lol, wow, I can just imagine how painful it must have been to sit through the whole thing.
anyone else feel like microsoft ruined e3 for them this year? i always look forward to e3 but was just so beat down over the 24 hour log in rubbish I couldnt even get excited for the games :(
Has Sony bought you out, GameSpot? I officially declare you a sellout to the Sony franchise since all your videos of the MS conference are parodies, and the console of the low-end-specked diagonal that appeals to people who prefer lagged game-play in expense for 100 less dollars as the victor.
As soon as more things happened in Destiny, the lagging was embarrassing. The players were walking slower in hopes of no frame-rate issues, when even in the menu selecting various guns, it was awkward in that when looking around every movement was choppy. Whoever ignores this is just retarded and feels the need to defend a franchise that appreciates the exterior of the console more than its mediocre interior, obviously to draw attention away to the fact that they were denied Nvidia, because their pricing was ridiculous, and was equal to a "low-end PC". This is the clear end-result of a company that has already been losing. Having sold their headquarters for chump change of 700 million, you can see a company that needs to sell their product for 400 in hopes to attract shitty gamers not only through-inexpensive-ness but along with criticism towards the other opponent.
And then this, a rehashed Assassin's Creed 3 game with more detail- can't even continue after a minor cut-scene in preparation of obviously something big that required a lot of processing power. You get what you pay for.
It'll be like how it was for the previous-gen. All the cheap-fan-boys are going to scream their preferred side and always attack the rival. Soon enough everybody just knows deep inside that the Bone will be superior. How? Let's see if I can break down everything we've heard from the two in regards to system' performances.
-8gb ram, 500gb hard drive, AMD based capabilities
-no word on servers- but we had movies, plus monthly subscription, cross-game chat, other insignificant shit I can't remember... nice to see Sony basically has 360 live. same comparison for pc to consoles graphically; barely catching up
-no talk about hardware, but they sure did take the time to show us their exterior. a shiny knife isn't always sharpened (i just thought of that ;) nice alliteration that has an effective meaning )
-8gb ram, 500gb hard drive, PhysX and APEXsoftware development kits
-300, 000 SERVERS, 'surely Sony will be the victor in online accessibility... 300,000 servers ... nothing'
-Tv (although it was stressed, it was an amazing demonstration of the console's capabilities.. at least Sony got around to renting and owning movies, and let's not forget about Netflix)
-Kinect which has amazing possibilities, not only through gaming, but with intuitive outside development as we've seen with the past kinect from various creative minds around the world
In the end we have two companies. One that has always been innovative since their inception with the personal computer, shaping how we access our lives outside the real world. The other which started out making radios, and should continue barely making profits through shitty headphones and Walkmans... and the technological advancements that are those Sony Ericssons. The other which has by-products that run what the other company made (OS on Sony computers).There is no Sony OS. There's no such experience that translates to their console. That's why the OS of the 360 kept advancing, and the PS3's never changed.I couldn't have made it any more clear. A press conference that has a large screen screams loud in an effort to seem superior with little material. Attacking the opponent's ways of evenly distributing material which is better for the economy is an example of a standard American franchise that would evidently do the same thing but with the position they're in financially, they'll oppose it as a means to survive.
Pretty simple, I guess, simply because Microsoft's main marked is in the U.S. That is their number one priority. The rest are just secondaries that simply have to #deal with it.
@Dante-1989 i am
Always preferred the PS controllers, I find it much more easier to navigate, the 360 controller feels too cumbersome. Though, I suppose it's what you're used too; I've only ever played the 360 in my brothers room, and that was only for Alan Wake.
You'll get used to it.
@cm94 Gran Turismo anyone?
@obsequies Better question: How many rights of consumer ownership do you give up with Xbox One?
I've lost count.
@SergioKool I think they forgot their "applause now" light prompt LOL
@KingOfAsia PS4 also does not require server authentication to play every game. PS4 does not restrict your ability to trade-in, lend, borrow, rent games. PS4 does not stop working when the servers crash or you Internet is down. And PS4 will still work in 20 years, long after Microsoft has turned off their servers and erased an entire generation of games from existence.
PS4 is also $100 cheaper, and more powerful.
@KingOfAsia , or you can get the ps4, which is 100$ cheaper, and allows you to play used games without paying a fee.
@basey ruined because of their policy but for games they are better than the ps4
@ThereWillBeNPCsRestrictive DRM which shamelessly robs the consumer of all ownership rights, for no good reason, counteracts any and all of your arguments. Xbox One is a consumer rights nightmare fueled by pure greed.
Anyone who buys Xbox One is willfully lining up to be taken advantage of, and jeopardizing the future of gaming itself, by encouraging this kind of behavior.
@ThereWillBeNPCs I believe Microsoft did it to themselves. They had time to try and take back all the BS that they have built into this system. But they must not have looked at any blogs or their facebook page in the last few weeks. And even Gamespot seems to oppose all that BS also because it's about games not TV and Blueray.
@ThereWillBeNPCs Said ThereWillBeXBOTS.
@ThereWillBeNPCs I took away WAY less than that from what I've seen (both full presentations... on Gamespot...) is Microsoft = Awkward, Sony = Confident = Me = Sold... :-\
@ThereWillBeNPCs And I thought I had too much time on my hands...
