The content is great, but the little skit-like portions of the editors talking are pretty silly. We know what you're doing, just do it. We don't need a "gambling addiction" side story for the game website editors to be talking about games.
wtf are they talking about he moves exactly the same as he has in the other games combat moves are all the same thats just lazy
I'm a huge batman fan but, till now, this looks like nothing more than an expansion pack to Arkham City. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing though.
The detective element and detective vision was my least favourite aspect of the previous games. Very disappointed to hear there will be more of it.
is it my imagination or this batman is even bulkier that the previous ones... i mean, look a his legs.. they're HUGE!
The Gameplay looks pretty cool but I noticed they purposely didn't have any of the voice acting in this Trailer
Wow that detective part made me remember of Tony Stark on the last movie trying to figure out the human explosion scenes
My problem is that a game like that can't be difficult puzzlewise, because they don't want to antagonize the young players. They just default to hand holding every single time, and the detective parts turn into interactive story pieces.
It's too early to see, but I doubt there would be much gameplay outside of combat and roaming around (which isn't bad, but it was done before several times).
Should have at least got a new engine to this game.Not saying that the previous one was bad ,but there should be something about this game thats different from Arkham Asylum and Arkham City.
I hope they don't make it so you need DLC in order to get your platinum. Blatant profiteering from the company. If you buy the game, then you should be able to platinum it without having to pay more. Rip off. If it is DLC for plat, I won't buy it. Simple
the only thing bad about this game is that it is set before the events of arkham city... so we cannot kill hush or find out if joker really died
Sure great presentation and as of the game fine lighting and graphics, but I am afraid its more complicated than its predecessor and one more of the same, Not that too excited about it.The detective mode though looks very interesting but should be more player friendly .
I realize this game will be a worthy title to own, I just feel the major eye-roll part about it is WB Montreal's focus on the 'detective mode'. It's a glorified version of what already exists, and is a COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME. All I've seen it do is draw out the previous versions for the sole reason to be 'different' than previous games.
THe real reason I want this game is for all parts DeathStroke, and pretty much nothing else. Don't hate me. ^_^
Take away those damned riddler trophies, the number in Asylum was perfect, the number in City was atrocious. There's no need to continue levling up when yer not gaining anything. Change them not to be atrocious, and make the damned story/gameplay of a decent length and I'll care about everything else
@saminsingh I think the term you're looking for is "incremental upgrade" to which I would agree ... I also think this will be a great game! :D
@shanethewolf Batman IS a detective bud. That's like saying I want a Superman game without flying.
@shanethewolf Its part of Batman. Its always going to be part of Batman. If you don't like it, you'll probably never like any Batman game again
@arruu2000 I wish I was that built.
I don't like that "alternative" at all. I'm so glad WB Games Montreal opted to only add stuff on top of Arkham engine, instead of completely revamping it. Had WB Games Montreal made a new engine, the game would have had possibility of being bad. Now it's simply good because i know what kinda gameplay to expect since i loved both Arkham games.
There is no recycling in this, like there is in CoD. But also not too much change so the great gameplay does not suffer. This is truly "don't fix what ain't broken" in effect.
This game has great possibility of being the best Third Person game of 2013.
@kluberpt dude looks like a lady- Aerosmith.
@Dialtos dev's have been testing the boundaries of what they can get away with for years. Of course, the consumer hasn't been the most discerning when it comes to buying games so I understand your trepidation. It's a sad state when ppl gotta hope that a dev does the right thing!
@sergiodoom We can't , you'll have to decide it for yourself .
