@cillad Looks like you can't read either. Don't worry you'll learn some day kid. If you can't understand it there's no point wasting my time trying to explain it to you. I actually make an adequate amount of money thanks, and I get around enough to have more interesting, fun things to do. It's pretty rich of you to try and beat down on "talking crap to people you don't know" especially since you've had 5H!T flowing from your mouth since the moment you started on me. Thanks for the tip but I think I'll talk "crap" to whichever jerks deserve it thanks. Have a nice day.
@naryanrobinson Your statement makes zero sense. By your logic you are saying I have no real life friends because i go to midnight releases with my friends? You need to rethink that logic. Second, your calling me a kid when you have no idea who i am, people like you are just ridiculous and immature. Im sorry you barely make enough money to support your family and support your hobby at the same time. i didnt realize 5 dollars put a dent in your savings. Dont talk crap to people you dont know.
I'm hoping to have another ME as well as many have said, but with a new story arc.It would be great if you're allowed to play as whatever race/sex you want & not have to be with Sheppard all the time.I mean,sure,he/she could be in your crew for a little mission or 2 as a cameo, but NOT through the whole game.
Im glad Shepard's story arc is coming to an end. It gives the satisfaction of being with him/her for 5 years and finally getting a definitive end, which will be awesome. Of course I wouldn't mind a new IP set in the ME universe of course. Like maybe a story arc involving the first contact war, or one that doesnt even involve humans, I would be fine with that.
@cillad I don't have enough friends to play video games? Wow, one day they'll teach logic in schools. No the difference is that I actually interact with my friends in what I like to call "real life". You may have heard of it. I need that money to go places and do things and pay rent, food and bills. But I'm OK if you and your little kiddy friends NEED their new toy gun RIGHT NOW so you can think you're cool. Really I am. Your mummy and daddy probably deal with the grown up stuff right now anyway. Statement stands, stronger than ever.
@indicaX I'm OK if little kids like you want to waste their money so they can get their cool new toy gun before any of their friends. I bet they think you're really cool now. You go kiddy!
@321FOX123 in ME3, any class can use any weapon type so perhaps you will want to use assault rifles as an engineer.
Some people should realize that a pre-order bonus is just that. A bonus for pre-ordering the game. Since when has pre-ordering a game been bad or a trick to take our money. Last time I check they don't charge use extra for pre-ordering the game. Its just to ensure that you have the game. Now if they decide to give use something for doing that then good. I don't mind getting something extra for free. We should stop being so picky and just except it. I mean you don't absolutely have to use it.
@ACWH You get more then just one rifle... http://www.masseffect.com/me3/game/preorderbonus/ Folks who pre-order the CE will get even more goodies in addition to those stated in the link above. So fear not.
The weapon looks cool, but based on past experiences, these pre-order guns are really sucky. I just hope the game lives up to it's legacy.
with no disrespect to anybody here, i disagree with some comments i think sometimes (online) like on bf 3 you have to buy software from the release date to be on par with everyone else regarding learning maps and new weaponry received through progression within the game and to better yourself on it and your experience. Unless.... you don't play online then yeah wait for the price to decrease, i used to, and sometimes bonus content on release date enhances the gaming experience, if that's what interests you so what have fun with others who share that same interest, enjoy it like every other interest. I don't like fishing, other people do!! hey com Ci com ca!! :)
@anthonycg You need to go and look up the definition of "plot holes". What were those dragon things towards the end? :O Awesome. My most anticipated game of this year.
@ZOD777 Right now they need to worry about actually finishing the story. There are A LOT of plot holes in ME2 that were simply never touched - two of them being that no one seems to care whether the council made it or not and the other being that there are no ramifications for your decision on Ilos other than a one sentence mention by Anderson in the stripped down Citadel.
you can take down a small ship look like the reapers cool i like its grenade launcher and its firepower and as we saw enemies will react and fall back down if you shot one shot at them like Rage thats nice
@naryanrobinson whats wrong with going out with a bunch of friends and going to a midnight launch? Im sorry you dont have enough friends for that but dont get mad at the people who do. Whats the matter with putting 5 dollars down on a game a week before it comes to get a couple in game bonuses? Maybe you need to get off the computer and rethink your statement.
@ Naryan I still can't believe people click on an article just to run their mouth about how the rest of the world is sooooo stupid and they are not. GTFO DB.
Kids will fall for anything. These guys must be laughing themselves to sleep. I still can't believe people pre-order games, or buy on day one. I guess it's just another indicator of the mentality people today have.
@ZOD777 : this should be the last of shepard's story but not the last in the mass effect universe ..coz i personally really wanna play as a turian :D
That armor looks like crap. I never use any of that terrible pre-order content generally, so screw that. Of course, i'm still pre-ordering it.
I pre-ordered the CE off of Amazon and selected release day delivery. I'll be in class all day on release day. So when I get home around 6pm hopefully I'll have it there ready to be installed :)
What I wanna know is when did the onmi-tool go from fancy sci-fi all purpose wrist computer to physical blade?
@scanders411 Is this a joke? Haven't you played ME1? Everyone wore armor in that game, as it should be. ME isn't supposed to be sponsored by fashion designers, they're constantly in gun fights. ME 2 looked completely ridiculous in that regard, they might aswell have had them wearing bikinis and it would've made as much sense. ME1 did it right, Armor on the battlefield & casual wear on the ship.
hmm, burst assault rifle....no thanks i like mine full auto >: D. Never liked the burst rifle in ME2 due to its firing rate (I like to clear the room....if i want accuracy ill use the sniper). All these things to get your pre order.....id rather wait and save abit of cash
Have we really gotten the the point where developers are going to start creating trailers just for the pre-order content? Something is inherently wrong about treating customers differently based on when they buy the game, and then going out of your way to advertise the fact.
@ZOD777: I think they are hoping to have other ME games, but with a different story arc (i.e. NOT about commander Shepard). If this is the case, it would be best if the next story arc occurred in a completely different time, such as when Shepard is not yet or no longer alive.
I preferred it when everyone wore what looked like skin tight jump suits with a few armor plates (sleek and innovative), now it's like everyone's a spartan wannabe.
As much as I like the series, I hope this is in fact the last one. Prolonging it any more than a 3rd installment is not necessary. I think Assassins Creed and MGS went a bit too long. Hopefully they learn from other's mistakes and wrap this one up without dragging the story out to a convoluted end.
