The new Mario Cart delivered a great game and will be seen that way for a long time to come. It was right on the money and I think it is possible that other "new" Nintendo games are possibly going to do the same.
New DLC for Mario Cart 8 was just released and will be available soon. It is not out as of today. however there is a inclusion of Zelda as a mentionable.
Game looks great and can't wait to pick it up to today, and on top of that get a free Wii U game! Sadly though I don't think this is going to push consoles. Game should sale well, but not too many people are going to spend over $300 just to play Mario Kart.
This game looks amazing!
Nintendo will have great sales with that title i'm sure.
Good Luck Nintendo.
Mentioning DSL's with a children's game or with any video on here is not appropriate. This is a NOT a family video, and Gamespot is not first class right now. They've been going down hill for some time with their reviews.
References to The Shocker and DSLs on a Nintendo video?
You're pretty sick, Chubbs.
They should've really allowed 5 player local multiplyer
Can someone confirm whether snaking is still a technique in MK8. Also, for local multiplayer, what is shown for the player using the gamepad?
Best bet for Nintendo, is the holiday season. If they have this and SSB out, and actually do some advertising they can move some consoles.
With the change in mechanics from MarioKart Wii, snaking is still possible but much more difficult to pull off. The worse the drifting abilities of the wheels, the easier it is to drift but the shorter the boost is.
@JoSilver Nah, the lighting is weird in the video for some reason. Every green color seems to be pitch black (the koopa shells are also black).
I think it's their TV or maybe their capture card that's messing the colors up.
@JoSilver Nintendo's commitment to diversity
@Tiwill44 It's the green screen special effects they use in order to show the players (Tom etc) in the screen without showing the couch, wall etc.
@Tiwill44 Something to do with the green screen?
@Kexster Yeah, that must be it.
