Witcher 3 is also coming for PC's wow..fun is just started now read the full specification requirements..
Great video. Rob, do us a favour and bring back GTA Diaries!
(dammit, now I have that Jurassic Park music stuck in my head...)
Brilliant video Rob - Absolute big fan of your material. I know you probably don't like to be compared to others but your sense of humour, style of commentary and awesome journalism reminds me of Danny O'Dwyer especially in his UK Gamespot days. I hope Gamespot pushes you more on the Lobby and perhaps more collaborations with Danny. Nonetheless, you deserve your own show - look forward to your future videos.
p.s. my favourite video involving yourself was your commentary regarding Charlie the Chipmunk in Shaun Method's Hitman Absolution! :D
Keep up the good work!
The reason I believe the multiplayer will be more enjoyable on the PC is because it won't have auto aim.
I platinumed this game and spend over hundred hours in the online portion of this game,, it is just a damn special game just like the rest of the series. Can't wait to head back to Los Santos on the PC
Anyone else notice the sneaky nerf to payouts in this update? Under the guise of they are paying on difficulty of the mission and playing with other players, R* is really starting to show how full of rubbish they can be. I played Rooftop Rumble by myself on hard using a sniper, carbine and one C4 get 13k, so I play two other missions Potshots and Defender on my own each one paid out 9k and 13k respectively which is lower than it has been. Considering that they don't add enemies to my notice when adding more player for missions how would they give you more money for when doing harder missions? Then after I finished those two mission completed the Rumble again and killed everyone including the guys at the cement factory got 18k. Used to be 18,750 until this update. R* lying through their teeth once again. There is no better payouts as stated in the list of changes for this update, so many people buying shark cards these guys still attempting to make it hard to earn cash aside from playing races or that craptastic deathmatch.
Loving the lines from Independence Day. Such an American movie, but I bloody love it. This update might just be enough to get me back on GTA V.
On another note, I really miss GTA Diaries.
Can you pull a 4 G inverted dive with a MiG 28 about 1 and a half meters away while keeping up foreign relations?
I never used flight school to begin with, as flying in GTAV is already easy.
How about giving us an option to turn off the kill effect(the way the screen flashes for each kill with an x over every enemy you shoot). GTAV combat feels and looks cheap with kill indicators. I dont even like using guns in this game because of the flash.
Or better yet, update the police. Make it so they use non lethal force instead of shooting at you for staring at them or verbally assaulting them.
id love them to do an airwolf version of that helicopter with working guns and rockets that would be brill
"Uh oh, haters on my 6. Take em' out Mall Cop."
Good lord man, you're writing and editing is some of the best this site has to offer. Great work on these and the continuity aspect of the character morphing from one role to another. Role playing is a very underestimated way to have fun in GTA, everybody just wants to shoot everything, but a couple friends and a lot of in-game cash can make things very fun with no shots fired at all.
@lottiewmilburn Kill it with fire!
@deadman28 Wow.. thanks deadman. Comments like this make me reeeally eager to start working on the next. All these comments have been nothing but uplifting. I was thinking when 'hesists' come out, we should do a 4 player video (Danny, Seb, Cam, myself) playthrough.
@Maverick6585 *cough bullsh** cough* - Iceman
@Dredcrumb9 I actually like the flash, but I completely agree with the police thing! The other day I got 1 star for doing something by mistake, it was no crime at all but the police just killed me and got my car (and I almost lost it, because they will destroy it after a while...)
@Dredcrumb9 Are you talking about GTAV or Ferguson?
@jonp13579 When I first saw it that's exactly what I thought of. Not quite the right model though, if you happen to be bothered.
Which you probably don't. :oP
@jonp13579 Get it on PC and let the mods work it out.
@thehollowones Damn dude... thanks for this. I learn something every time. Really apprechiate the feedback.
@rob_handlery Absolutely genius with the JP exit scene. This is Golden GS :)
@JohnyMyko @Dredcrumb9 the constant flashing ruins the game for die hard fans. It makes all shootouts feel fake and less intense. Especially for those that want a more immersing, more seamless experience for story mode.
The flash makes close range shotgun kills look less brutal on impact, to the point where shotguns are unusable for me, and it also destroys immersion in sniping. That's fine if you like ADHD strobe flashes and kill markers, but why not have an off/on option?
@rob_handlery Your videos are always very entertaining. You remind me of Danny O'Dwyer when he started out here. You're a breath of fresh air and your positivity is contagious. It's great when someone can do that when the wider gaming community is usually so cynical and pessimistic.
@Dredcrumb9 Wow people really overstate how strong the effect is. The flash and kill indicator are barely even noticeable. It's barely distorts the screen but people like you pretend like it's a flashbang going off in front of your face.
@saturatedbutter @Dredcrumb9 it's annoying to people, it disrupts the flow of combat and immersion in gameplay. On my HD tv it looks extremely annoying. Sniping would feel much better, as would close range shotgun kills and headshots, if this feature were turned off. All my friends in real life hate it too. I only find a few people online who think it's not a big deal. There is a reason why Red Dead Redemption let us turn it off.
@Dredcrumb9 It's an artistic touch to their game. Who are you or anyone to tell them they should have an on/off option for stylistic effect? That is their art. They don't have to alter it because some shooter fanatics find it annoying. Go play something else if you don't like it.
@saturatedbutter @Dredcrumb9 I've bought every GTA since gta 2, they owe it to the loyal fans. Who are you to tell everyone they need a one size fits all policy with annoying flashing and X's popping up on the screen for every npc they gun down? You have a right to play with training wheels(the flashing and kill indicators), but why not have a simple on/off option? To me and all my buddies who love the GTA series, it is not an artistic touch, it makes the game look ugly. Combat would be much better if the only kill indication was the enemy spraying blood and going limp. Red Dead Redemption was much more fun with the kill effect turned off. In Max Payne 3 we could turn off the 'x' kill marker, why not add these options to GTAV?
