L.A. Noire Serial Killer Trailer
Check out a new gameplay trailer for LA Noire from Rockstar Games, featuring narrative details.
XD Jack the Ripper XD. Well when you think about it England is the best place to put up a detective based action adventure isn't it...
@wheathin1234 I play games for the gameplay mostly. I don't like any 007 games besides goldeneye on the n64 because the new james bond games focus more on story and Looking cool" over gameplay. R* just happens to be good at having a rich story and good gameplay.
@aaronfhff123 Yah it's fun killing the cops but i was saying that it looks kind of like a cop game in which there is a good story line and thats what i like. Also have fun playing your James Bond games.
@metalkid9 -- i dont care if its in-game footage, and assumed it was--- What i wanna see is what the game looks like when im just standing on a corner and controlling the character.... in other words, gameplay.
@GamerBaboo Actually because R* has never made a bad game and most of their games come out to be Game of the Year like GTA, Red Dead Redemption, and Max Payne and yeah some parts may not be original but the technology behind it is no other game uses facial animations like they do some close but aren't as accurate and its not about originality its about quality and almost all R* games have amazing quality.
the badmouthing and cursing by fanboys is really funny. They can't accept the fact that the game is not original, and any resemblence to other games is annoying them.... get over it! the game's not original for sure, but people still buy it, why? because they're FANBOYS... heh
I wonder if this game is going to be a gritty and realistic psychological thriller on one hand as you step by step hunt down a serial killer who has killed several women, meanwhile on the other hand you are running over and murdering hundreds pedestrians, banging hos and having shoot-outs with cops GTA style.
i wonder how the detective mechanics will play out with the story...i mean what if i arrest the wrong person does the game make me restart the mission? but anyways, like i've said time and again!.....ROCKSTAR RULES!!!!!!!!
I just realized video games have not seen a good detective game since the Sega CD with Hideo Kojima's "Snatcher" game. I'm SO looking forward to this!
@gawthy I don't understand why so many people voted you down for hoping that this game is good... Anyways, I'm pretty optimistic about this game, since it is a Rockstar product, a detective game, and has some pretty amazing facial graphics.
2011 will be a freaking cool year for gaming! I just can't wait so many good games like this to come out!
Not so excited. Heavy Rain? Lol.. not the kinda games RS do. Hopefully a better interface than RDR, a better story than GT4, still the sandbox and that would be fine.
Cool, a Heavy Rain clone with worse graphics! :D Not that there's anything wrong with that, here's hoping it's an actual game and not an interactive movie.
Really, quite curious as to what direction the actual gameplay will take versus the story implementation.. So far it as awakened my interest..
hate you rockstar! STOP being EXCLUSIVE for consoles. I didn't played Read Dead Redemption, I'm guessing I never will, unless I buy a console, and now you do the same sh*t. Seriously? I hate you rockstar! You can shove this game ... HA! I'll be busy playing DUKE NUKEM AS*HOLES! ahahhahaha
Rockstar games=high detail visuals, suberb physics, atmosphere, deep involving story and most importantly fun gameplay
@ Hope it is better than RDR. So far it looks goood Dude why are you even comparing these two.. apples and oranges. The cutscenes look great. I'd play this just for the cutscenes.
If story and action are as strong elements as they were in Max Payne, this will be a hit and it will rescue us from mindless fps.
I'm really looking forward to this, the faces and voice acting are as good as a high quality film, just brilliant. In this game alot of the gameplay is questioning and seeing people's faces and voices react to those questions and accusations, I wonder if players of this game will end up trying to 'read' people in real life(human lie detectors =P).
@SeanCris what countless GTA's witht the GTA4 engine?(More like countless COD's with the COD4 engine) Dude, there is only Gta4 and the two expansions. They have yet to use the updated gta4 engine they used on RDR in a new GTA setting. Imagine the more detailed bullet wounds and side quests used in RDR on a new GTA game set in Miami or La! Imagine an unlockable zombie mode in the next gta set in a modern city! Would be so much fun and we(at least I) really need more grand Theft Auto games. La Noire would be a nice side release for later but everyone knows(at least everyone who isn't a F@g) the possibilities of fun is so much more being on the wrong side of the law than being a gay detective ro cop.
@wheathin1234 good cop game? lol dude it's more fun to be a criminal and kill those gay ass cops than play as one. Unless your a snitch/corections officer/cop/sheep.
C'mon guys you know it's 10 times more fun playing a criminal who has no boundaries in a GTA game than a lame cop. What's more fun? Running from the law and shooting digital cops? Or questioning criminals and intergoating people like some F@g?
