BF4 test ranges are great and all but where are the bots?? All the test ranges in the world won't do anything to curve all the racists, homophobes and solo run and gunners that crowd the series.
Hail to Microsoft.
chris, i hope u keep doing the gamespot news. you are much more mellow and relaxing and i can actually concentrate on the news. in the beginning i thought jess was fun but after awhile her voice and her fast speak started being annoying so i stopped watching. i'm gonna stop watching again when she comes back.
I have jacked up max four controllers on PS2 via multitap to play WWE and on Xbox 360, wireless and wired, to play FIFA, COD, Marvel Ultimate Alliance and many other., and I have earned myself a fan title;
though it also makes me the fan of GameSpot News hosts or GameSpot News Spectator, or GameSpot News News Newser, or GameSpot News Liker, or GameSpot News Browser or GameSpot News Reader? What say? huh?
Thanks Chris, and a lovely, nice, good, awesome, deary, fantastic, tremendous, nifty, and everything great sort of weekend, thanks again.
I don´t believe that The Last of Us is steal on Top 10, It´s a great game, but 4 months on Top 10 isn´t overreacted.
My max: 10 controllers in Saturn Bomberman. It was pure mayhem and an absolute delight. The controllers were all mine (they were dirt cheap) and it was while I was at college. Fun times.
BTW, great job Chris--I am impressed.
So Chris did you get anything from consulting with your ancestors bones? A vision of the future of gaming?
Looks like Battlefield 4 will give us trainee pilots a chance to practice kamikaze dives in a safe and conducive environment :D
I somehow thought that the PS VR would've been the top news...
Maybe we should all take a step back and think about it...I think the main question with this technology will be whether or not it can match up to the high graphical expectations that us gamers have nowadays.
Personally I would like to see how Sony develop's it...will be looking forward to any further news about it.
GTA V: Radio!
they published parts of the official music there!!
I played quite a lot of 4 and 5 player games of NHL on PS1 with that weird adapter back in the day. Back then, it was pretty much the weekend ritual to gamble on 4-5 player games of NHL and Hot Shots Golf. Super good times!
Yeah, how is anyone really annoyed with the "only" 4 controller support for PS4? The most people I've played with at once is 4. Seems like enough considering getting friends together to play on the same screen is something developers don't like anymore. It used to be awesome. Melee, Mario Kart 64, Mario Party, Goldeneye, Perfect Dark, Crash Bash, Gameday, etc. Then everyone decided to tell their friends to stay home and put on a headset instead. Not as fun to me at all.
I wish Sony would have collaborated with the Oculus Rift developers; having it work both on PC and a console would have increased its chances of success.
Max controllers: 4 with Super Smash Brothers 64, Mario Kart 64, Halo 1 co-op ("quick peeking!")
Battlefield has come a long way since the days of the Desert Combat Battlefield 1942 mod that started the whole modern warfare thing. You had to drive those choppers with WASD + all four arrow keys. THAT needed skill!
My BF3 test range alternative was to find an empty server to practice on. Got okay at piloting after a couple of hours. I didn't want to be that one dude that crashes the team's best vehicle 10 seconds into the match.
future console is more like personal gaming experiance, even the family or social games 4 is more than enough. ppl always can buy more console to link together i think.
what's a nintendo? "MEH"
- DAMN bf3 pilots are a sin to mankind
- 4 controllers max - ps3, ps2
- VR can take a seat IMO - my eyes are messed up enough already as it is
@Dirk_McHardpeck i know right!? and theres all these fan boys who try and justify it...
@vindictivecow Chris is good but Jess is much better. She has got fun and sense giving news which feels natural.
@vindictivecow I appreciate the kind words! Still, I'll be passing the news baton back to Jess next week when she returns from vacation.
Yes, of course. If it's that important to you then I'm sure they'll change presenters just for you.
Are you for real?
@vindictivecow I concur I thought I was the only one
@vindictivecow Could you post that one more time?
@vadagar1 Because you touch yourself at night
@vadagar1 Because you're magic?
"What we do in life, echoes in eternity..."
@DeathProofDelta get a 39" 4k TV your Ps4 will love the Ultra HD
@Keivz_basic Oh man, definitely did much Bombermanning with that Genesis adapter I mentioned. Such fun. And thanks!
@laugm They really just like to comment on current events, apparently, though my great, great great uncle Levi wouldn't stop talking about his stint in that Confederate prison.
@rez_1kabir Maybe it'll top the list when (or if) it's officially announced!
@rez_1kabir How would it not? Its just a tv screen attached to your face. Its hooked up to the console, so it would be using the consoles graphics.
@tempertress Hi Jess! How's London? :D
@billlabowski The Occulus is 720p right now O.o Why would Sony's be any less?
@hassanfadil I think Sony wanted to do their own VR thing for a really loong time now. Thanks to the Rift, the corporate dudes probably finally thought there was an audience out there that justified the risk.
@VR_Verdugo That's very diligent of you! We can only hope players take advantage of the new test range.
@deafwing I'm actually looking forward to a VR headset partially BECAUSE my eyes are a bit messed up. Being able to see an amazing screen without having to use my glasses would be rather comfortable. Anything that pins my glasses' between my ears and my skull can hurt after awhile, so a VR headset could be nice.
