It seems to be quite simple, people prefer Playstation.

In the last generation 360 came out of the gate first so there wasn't any competition when it launched, PS3 took the whole gen to catch up but got there in the end.

This gen they launched at the same time and we can see what people prefer, Playstation.

I know I bought a 360 and as soon as the PS3 was affordable I got one and my 360 got no more loving. There was nothing that gave me any interest in Xbox One and the whole PS+ ecosystem made me comfortable to buy a PS4 day one.

@dani_i89 You can see why they passed it up? It looks exactly like everything else that Nintendo makes AND it has a gimmicky little action figure plinth thing. I was surprised they turned it down! Practically made with them in mind.

@ahpuck Yeah but all they do is replace the bad decision makers with other bad decision makers. Everyone still gets fired in those big corporations. They have enough cannon fodder and what with the economy being a little dodgy still in Japan no shortage of people to move through the ranks.

@durpdurp1234 @amdreallyfast I didn't know if it was a political jab, poking fun at most of Australia being wilderness and inhabited primarily with creatures that would eat you if they had the chance, a very much non-politically-correct (but still amusing in a "does not leave this room" sort of way) joke at Aboriginal mythology, or a touch of all three.

It turned out to be the middle one. I am now one step closer to enlightenment.

@amdreallyfast Australia is known (at least across internet social culture, like Reddit) for having an extensive and notorious amount of poisonous native animals. Good Friday is a national public holiday in Australia, as opposed to the USA where I think it is only in some states. He has substituted the Christian holiday with a joke about us worshipping our abundance of poisonous animals :P

Yes last of us, have to ask to the trophies really glitch iv played couple times and only have a mere 10%

And being a sony fanboy ... 7 million for a console that others *cough* xbox1 users say has no games outsells the console that does have the games

It's not about looks but we are looking at ways to improve the visuals......

Saw a couple 4Ks at the Sony store a while back and I gotta admit those fruit baskets and animals did look pretty sharp.

Too bad about the skylanders thing, a Pokemon version would be pretty cool.

@Yami_Vegeta Platypus is one awesome looking aminal, BUT even that sucker is poisonous! You have sharks and box jellyfish in the water, snakes everywhere, dingos, crocs and all kind of animals trying to eat you in Australia. Must be fun!
