i hope they make dark souls 2 hard as posible i mean dark souls werent hard...u just learn mechanics and thats it u can easy do whole game without single death i hope in ds2 no matter how good you learn mechanics u will die anyway lot and lot times
Personally, I'm excited for ESO. If you're not sure yourself, watch this (non CG) video:
It tells you everything you need to know about the game, plus you get to see how gorgeous it looks relative to most other MMOs.
That said, I can't say I'm excited for the subscription fee, but at least it will help weed out those who aren't serious about playing; though, it'll probably go F2P soon enough.
If Jess had a Mario-type power up it would be a pirate captain hat, and it would allow you to lay siege to mushroom kingdom port towns with a horde of goombas.
So.........Iwata is going to be making $300,000 per year instead of $600,000. Man I am sure he's struggling.....lol.
Nintendo is in an excellent position now that both Sony's and Microsoft's consoles have launched. Nintendo can get an edge on the next gen gaming market by releasing a console that will out perform both existing consoles. Even though this makes the most sense and will once again bring Nintendo to the top of the gaming industry they will most likely either do nothing or exercise the bare minimum of what hard core Nintendo fans want.
Nintendo going third party isn't all doom and gloom. I'd like to think that Nintendo knows better than to step on fangames. And who knows, perhaps they might believe that having a fan-made Unreal powered Majora's Mask remake with Steam Workshop support would print money FOREVER?
If Nintendo was an American company, they would be asking for government bailout money, the board of directors would have given themselves million dollar bonuses and they would all be flying their private jets to a tropical island to celebrate.
You know what could shit the pants of those who dread this change in Dark Souls II?
From Software could develop a localized database of player behavior to create faux invaders, a la that "Drivatar" thing in Forza, even when the player is offline.
ESO is shooting itself in the foot with all these CG trailers, kinda reminds me of what dead island's trailer looked like, and what the game actually was. ESO is unoriginal and derivative and, unless something major changes from the beta to the final product, it will fail and go free to play soon enough.
Who else thought Jess looked adorable as ever in that Mario style hat? You weren't wearing it in the vid though Jess! To quote the best meme ever, "I am disappoint..." Oh yeah, and who else things she should just change her title show to "The Jess"? It sounds about the same and makes more sense.
I have to say as a Elder Scrolls fan that I cannot see myself playing ESO. I have been a fan of the series for 10 years but I am just too burned out on MMO's in general. I honestly don't know if I will ever play another one. I would much prefer some Dark Souls 2
Dark Souls 2: No thanks. I'm sure it's a great game and I appreciate all the money and effort they put into it, but I'm too busy having fun playing other games. I have no need to play a game that causes migrane headaches.
Nintendo hate: Why the hate? There's no reason to hate.
I would love to buy a Wii U, if only it didn't put an under-powered CPU in it. What were they thinking? They didn't future proof it.
If they made a Wii U 2 with a CPU 4x or 5x more powerful so third party publishers would make games for it, then I would buy it. But no hate from me. Kudos to the Chairman for being a team player. Better half a salary than no salary.
Elder Schrolls On-line: on-line looks awesome. Maybe if it were more Left 4 Dead-ish, I would be interested.
As always. Thank you Jess for making my day much brighter. There's no so pleasant and charming as you.
Praise the Sun!
I don't expect a whole lot out of MMOs. WoW had and still has some of the great gaming cinematics to accompany it, but the gameplay is nothing like it. Ditto Elder Scrolls Online. CG doesn't sway me much anymore.
i think nintendo has done a lot but sadly if they don't make something amazing and come up with new ideas for games not just the same game redone a different way i can see them going the way of sega :(
Wow, that's pretty crazy that Iwata and other people at Nintendo would cut their own salaries that much for that long. Hope things start looking up for the Wii U soon.
Was that actual footage of Dark Souls or was that Infinity Blade?? Anyways, that CGI clip reminded me of WC3.
Not interested in Dark Souls 2, not interested in ESO, not interested in anything from Nintendo....
Hm, I guess I'm missing out again today....
Jess McDonell <-- so beautiful and hot again <3
I like ESO, but not sure if i'm gonna play it. They demand too high price for it and i'm not fan of p2p model either.
Don't know how the dark souls stuff is news, that has been known since the network test if not before.
@Gopstop22 Please stream online gameplay from dark souls from the beginning of the game to the end. I want to see this. :)
@Pheonix985 Ninja Gaiden is also hard. But a different kind of hard.
That's a terrible idea.
@riotinto876 ESO is shooting itself in the foot with its business model and its exclusive race for the collector edition too.
@wyan_I sure expected to see the hat for real. Think of the easy money Nintendo could make if they sold those.
@wyan_ I took the trouble of replying to your post just to say NO, I dont share any of your loverboy fantasies.
@LordCrash88 I see you have Geralt as your profile picture, and because of that I'll ask if you have played the first Dark Souls. If you haven't, I would totally recommend playing it. The Witcher 2 and Dark Souls are my two favorite games, both excellent RPG's, and if you love The Witcher or RPG's in general, by the gods, play it! That game is a gem, and the combat shouldn't be too unfamiliar if you've played TW2.
@LordCrash88 You didn't miss out. You got to see and hear Jess again today. That's what's most important.
@LordCrash88 I'm sorry :(
@Krokberg @LordCrash88 Thanks, but of course I've played Dark Souls. But it let me back frustrated and didn't attract me enough to continue with its repetetiv gameplay and its lack of actual story. I really wanted to like the game since its basic combat mechanis and its art style are awesome but that couldn't do the trick. I play games for pure entertainment and not for challenge or self-punishment... :D
