God Of War's Director Explains Ending

We chat with the creative director of God of War, Cory Barlog, about the game’s ending, Norse mythology references, and more.

More and more people finish God of War by the day, which means more and more questions come to the surface. For the game's creative director Cory Barlog, answering those questions is half the fun.

In the video above, we sat down with Barlog during his world tour following the game's release. During our chat, he discussed Sony Santa Monica's decision to explore Norse mythology, and how they reached one of God of War's biggest twists. He also dives into the characterization between Kratos and his son Atreus, and how his personal experiences drove his creative process.

We'll have more news, features, and videos about God of War throughout the coming weeks, so be sure to come back to GameSpot as it all rolls out.
