The driver is glued to the helping line, I feel that I could probably do a better lap without the line.
Some places the driver could have used more of the road and it could have been smoother.
This seems to be a typical AI driving. Too slow, you can probably do 5-6 seconds faster. Unnecessary braking most of the time (especially 8th curb). Good graphics though! Will definitely buy
Forza has been such a good exclusive for the Xbox. I currently own all of them - with the exception of Forza Motorsport 4.
Those graphics just seem to get better and better - I hope the car roster is notable as well. I'm expecting a couple-hundred cars.
I might pre-order this so I have it for when I get my XBOX ONE later. lol, I know it sounds stupid but it could be smart.
@skovbylars I find with the helping line in places tells you to brake when you don't need to.
@MVM69 Lol, what!?
@ecurl143 You are not wrong my friend, no you are not.
@ahmad1080 not sure if actual argument, or just mindless fanboy dialogue
If you have those 200-400 dollar belt driven driving wheel as a controller, you can be PRETTY precise.
@Dannystaples14 Totally not. Look at all that tap braking in the corners. AI all the way.
@R3FURBISHED He is driving idiot.
@zpluffy Yeah I was thinking maybe it is a developer playing but then I remembered that games these days aren't brute forced into development, it is more Physics than anything. They apply cars to the physics not the other way around. Which means in the past a car would probably have had to be created in game individually which is why in really early games every car you drove felt exactly the same to drive. It also meant the developers had probably gone around every track in the game with every car about six million times.
This is not necessary so today because while a developer might be awesome at the game from spending thousands of hours developing it I can't imagine they would ever reach a level like in this video, everyone has the odd dodgy corner or leaves the line a bit. That video is just too precise. They are designing the game to be as realistic as possible after all, and even racing drivers spin out on occasion.
@shuffles88 @iRtehOWN Forza has done a lot of work on their new AI. They are obviously very proud of it and want to show it off, so they gave it a new name Driveatar to sell it as. More snappy than "That New AI". They are basically interchangeable.
Which is a great thing, I'm sick of games coming out and the only thing they change is the graphics and some animations or the user interface of something. Changing things like AI and other truly fundamental aspects to games is a hell of a lot more productive. Games might actually become fun again if they do this more in future.
