every body knows pc's are stronger but wtf are you going to do with NO EXCLUSIVES!!!!!

I just so happened to be eating toast during this. For a second I wondered if I stopped during the toast segment, got some toast, and then altered my memory to think it was my idea and that I was eating toast the whole time. GET OUT OF MY HEAD.

Even next gen consoles will have crappy graphics, because i am sure the settings will be on medium level.

I used to own all, （PS3 360 and PC). Gave my 360 to my friend. Now I barely touch PS3. Only playing on PC. Really don't care about which is superior anymore 'cause I see video games are dying. It's getting dumber, shorter, flashier and similar every year. Only thing games are getting more are DLCs.

I'm actually a PC gamer, but I'm really not that bothered about the whole "next-gen console" thing. As long as I can get to play fun games on my platform of choice, I'll be happy no matter what the industry is doing.

PC Gaming always peaks in the lull between console cycles. Then with the new gen, people proclaim the death of PC gaming until it is resurrected again by filling the void left by those aging consoles. All these things have happened before, and all these things shall happen again.

To be honest the consoles aren't really consoles there dumbed down pc's. Its happened ever since the XBox 360 and PlayStation 3.

I don't particularly like console's I'm a PC gamer myself but the only innovator in the consoles trio is Ninetnedo. When People say Nintendo have lost their minds they pull out something that no one else thinks of whether its motion control, interfacing with various devices with tablet, 3D without glasses or gaming on the go they one of the most pioneering companies out there. I'm not a Nintendo fan boy as before I'm a actually a PC enthusiast.

PC's and consoles are stupid. People who play video games are antisocial nerds without lives. Everybody should do something useful instead. And toast is stupid as well. Why would you wait for bread to get hard and dry? It doesn't make sense. All you toast eating gamers; I hate you all.

Don't care about all the Consoles/PC's wars and stuff, as long as I am happy with mine and I can play games on it.

Sorry guys, but this is just ridiculous. I mean, does everyone need to support their favorite platform, as if it is a religion or a political party? It is obvious that there are many choices for gaming but in order to make the right one, one has to choose based on his needs not his fanboy instincts. I happen to be a lucky owner of a 360, a Wii, a PS3 and an i7 Quad core laptop, yet for the most part I play on my PS3. I do that, not because of its performance or special attributes but because it can effortlessly and efficiently run all of the latest games (at least in my eyes, which don't need super ultra HD graphics running at a million FPS to be satisfied) and because Playstation's exclusives have a special place in my heart (Snake,Kratos,Nate etc.. for me they are worth it). Despite that, I respect all the PC gamers and the rest of the console community so I find it stupid when someone just flames on the others for no reason. And yes there is no real reason for that, it's just a bunch of people worshipping the supposed superiority of their platform when each and everyone of them has it's own pros and cons. And for those of you who do that, you are just not gamers, you are fanboys. Stop talking and go enjoy your games. Now excuse but I am off to play some F-Zero on my GBA, which I enjoy more than any highly advanced super next-gen benchmark system seller generic shooter.

Great now i want toast.

The only reason I'm sticking to PC gaming are the community made mods. There is a surprisingly large amount of very well made, free to play mods out there for a large selection of games, and they are getting easier to install with apps like the Steam Workshop and the Curse client (or even community made apps such as the Magic launcher for minecraft). matter of fact, I would've naver played minecraft if it wasn't for the mods that makes this game actually challenging and interesting and I would not be playing skyrim still today without those mods.

I feel sorry for whoever had to sit and read through all those comments though lol

I can understand the appeal of consoles. They are easy to set up and use. But they need to be as its mainly teenagers that have them. Thats not a criticism, just an observation.

And they are really good at what they do. Games, play movies, play music, social networking, etc.

BUT, a PC is much more than that. Can a console create and render a 3D model? No. Can a console burn your favourite photos onto a CD? No. Can a console produce a simple letter? Spreadsheet? Database? No.

As for gaming there is no 'Aim assist' option on a PC shooter because the keyboard and mouse control combo is much better than a pad. Oh and if you really prefer a pad, you can simply buy one, plug it in, configure it to how you want it, and away you go.

I remember reading about Microsoft performing an experiment where PC gamers and Xbox gamers could compete against each other in a shooter multiplayer. The result was the team of Xbox users got slaughtered because they just couldnt compete with the PC's control system.

A PC is always evolving. Since building my PC 3 years ago, I've upgraded the HD (to SSD), graphics card, RAM, optical drive (Blu ray burner) CPU and soundcard. I've added LED fans and a card reader and am currently planning on customising my case. All done slowly over time when finances permitted.

I suddenly feel the urge to eat toast. But not burnt toast. I don't know why.

@sladakrobot Oh how naive. If you actually owned a PS3 and went to the PS Blog you'd find that it's one of the best gaming communities. Updates all the time. Developer and company replies regularly. You know what you get for the Premium on PS3, (Plus). A free game either each week and a full free game or two every month. Exclusive access to beta's and other deals on PSN. It's really no reason not to have it if you compare.

Look at 360 basic. Can't do anything. Ok Gold. Now you can do what you should be able to do with every console. The Wii didn't even have accounts and you could use Netflix just by downloading the app. Gotta be paying Microsoft before you can even use the service your already paying for. That's not right.

Sony had security problem as we all know but if you feel like you can't trust them after everything they did then that's fine. Stick to buying PSN cards or they've recently made PayPal usable. I think you've forgot about the "$1 million dollar worth" insurance they offered everyone and anyone so if any damages were reported they'd be covered.

The 360 wasn't safe from hackers either, as no one is. That resulted in Live being down for over a week. People doing whatever they want on the network. Hacking games, the store, others accounts. C'mon. Pretty common stuff on 360 maybe even just 2 years ago.

Please tell us again how the 360 somehow gets a pass because they fixed their defective consoles? Even though if the company knows about the problem then they fix it with a call. You don't pay for repair once they know (or accepted) it's their fault. That's just bad business.

With the new Big Picture thanks to steam, I can pretty much use my PC as a console and as a traditional PC (which, btw, will probably have higher specs then the next gen consoles). So...I'll stick with my PC thanks XD
