Darksiders: Wrath of War E3 2008 Gameplay Movie 5

I would have to say that him being so bulky is pretty fitting for who he is - after all, what would you think if the enbodiment of all things violent was some skinny little guy with a tiny pocket knife? Really looking forward to this one. (Hopefully we should also be seeing some awesome DLC?... Might be a bit early to be thinking on that though.)

Looks like a really awesome game :D. I Think they just need to sharp some things about gameplay and maybe make War a little less bulkier :P

yeah i do wish his body type was a little less beefy...especially in the lower half

War looks kind of goofy when backpedaling - he's like jogging backwards. But maybe that's to balance some physical quirks that are due to his rather bulky body. I would say that when compared to protagonists of games that this one emulates, he is the beefiest and chunkiest, but in a rather awesome way.

THe game has changed alot, go on the ps3.ign.com and click the new darksiders video, it isnt on the 360 part for some reason but click it, the game looks 10 times better now and the whole thing has changed. This video is almost pointless, its a 9 minute developer walkthrough like pablo said. The level design is awesome. If you like god of war you should enjoy it, it has alot of variety and combat is atleast 50 times better than this. Also Mark Hamil is doing voice acting for wars guide and he sounds like he did in batman. Im not saying the game is incredible but Im liking the vibe alot.

If you watch the 9 minute gameplay vid on IGN you will see this game is like God of War mixed with DMC wth some Ninja gaiden 2.Combat is very similar to DMC,with God of War boss fights and QTE.The weapons(like the sword/scythe/guns/glaive) are pretty much straight out of all 3 of those games.But still it might be good.

hardly the most earth shattering 1:15 to show the world is it? I was looking forward to this game but now it looks like your generic GOW clone...and a very dull one at that. *yawns*

it looks like a god of war remake but is it just me or did the combat look very dull? he kill the first 3 monster in the same way with the same noises and actions

Come on they should have shown some Gattling gun action right there, hope its more brutal than what I saw not much blood.

my favorite game comes out 15 days before my birthday i wonder who will buy it for me XD

it does looks like god of war ,but it would be fun to kill all the demons and bosses in the game ,it looks like a mix of god of war,gears of war and these old movie "krull" where the hero use a type of 5 points blade that he trhows in to the alien/demons like. and cut them to pieces

Looks like God of War but I don't really care about that. (Since I love God of War) My main minute issue is the main character looks clunky like Gears of War and yeah. Fat and Clunky isn't what I was looking for. More Lord of the Ringish or like a Witcher.

At the end where he had wings that gluided him a little reminded me of Soul Reaver. Hopefully this game is like Soul Reaver cause that would be sweet, but who knows.

It does kinda look like god of war, and the graphics aren't rly that impressive.

ctburesch How the Hell is Killzone 2 A clone of Halo 3?? Halo's Universe Has Aliens and Lasers and Super Soldiers! Killzone has a Darker Atmosphere with Mutants and Civil Wars! And in terms of Gameplay Killzone is a Tactical Shooter, unlike Halo 3. Try Choosing your words more carefully instead of blurting out things for the sake of it.. Great Gameplay Video Btw!
