Dark souls 1, was defo the best. But Dark Souls 2 was also quite good, yes I'll defo be getting this dlc. TY for new content. yum yum.
Dark Souls II is still languishing in my backlog but definitely looking forward to episode 4 of the walking dead. I've never played the original Oddworld but it sounds good.
DLC is ridiculous these days. Why should I pay full price for a game and then pay almost half the price again for stuff they intentionally left out? Such a gimmick.
Don't think I'll bother with the Dark Souls 2 dlc, looking forward to Walking Dead Episode 4 though!
@Xanitra I personally didn't like Dark Souls original (played it in 2012). -Vanilla with no DLC on a non online 360 'heared it was the superior console version'
Perhaps the lack of online damaged the experience?
Anywho. Animations are flat and laughable. & almost everything was downed with simple baiting and backstabs. Bosses are better than 2 but most are just fat blobs that you just decapitate a piece off then flatten them. As a mechanical structured boss goes? Glass Knight on 2 is amazing if Invaders get involved :)
Rolls are also abit of a nightmare looking back at the original, I'm fond of more control, & 2 gives me that.
The world flows better in the original, but actual layout is certainly more linear. Even though 2 did mess up in the entire layout horrendously.
Overall. . Nah, I just didn't like the original at all. Dark Souls 2 certainly lacks the art direction & world structure but is clearly the better overall game in this gamers opinion.
I won't go into story because in all three the story isn't that great. Even if you collect the lore from items/ souls.
On that though; your opinion is just as relevant as mine, I just disagree :D
@aroxx_ab I would welcome a port of DS2 on PS4, hopefully with the option to transfer savedata :)
Or better yet bundle a trilogy on PS4-
Demon's, Dark, Dark2?
@mickyfinn84 Most PC's can play the game though
@Dredcrumb9 All opinions I guess. On that note though; Bloodborne is the closest you're getting fella.
Ask Atlus. :/
@Guest1001 The original game is over fifty hours long. DLC on top of that is pretty good. I don't see what you're complaining about.
They only said they had no plan to release DLC, they never said they wouldn't release any.
Why does that annoy you, if anything it should make you happy, more content = good more bitching = bad
@eternal_napalm Woah! There's more Bloodborne info next month?!
@dannydopamine8 For you.
@dannydopamine8 Really? I played 200 hours already and still going strong :P
@tolard91 Please, stop the shop spaming already.
@breathnac The DLC for Dark Souls 2 is more of an expansion pack. Expansion packs have existed for ages.
The base game of Dark Souls 2 was bar none the largest in the series, most I know clock 110 hours in a first playthrough + completing alternative routes
@gameroutlawzz Grab the session pass then wait for them all to be released, much cheaper plus you get it all.
@gameroutlawzz I think that's the reason I'm not really into Season 2 of Walking Dead. I played the first season all at once. Waiting months to play part of a game doesn't really work.
@tableofjapan It's not disc locked at all. The DLC content was patched a few days ago and hackers just begin to use DLC weapons , armors and spells. Hackers would have fund all those items wayyyyyy sooner if it was disc looked. Disc looked or not, it's still a freaking DLC though :P
@Henhen420 I've had DLC (and trophies and saved games) disappear after console breakages. That's why.
Incidentally, blind support? Also bad.
@eternal_napalm Have you got the Bell Keeper set, Berserker blade & Ring of Thorns +2? My comment was regarding getting everything. Perhaps read.
If you just wanted to best the last boss? No more than 30 hours on a first playthrough
@eternal_napalm 80-100 O.o My first playthrough took me about 30 hours and I've done pretty much everything there was to do. Of course I've replayed it a few times thereafter but don't be ridiculous.
Some people just want to shout at nothing because they're bitter. Not saying this guy is but many nostalgic-glasses fanboys on the first two games.
Dark Souls 2 is awesome, deal with it! & large level pack DLC adds to that.
@Guest1001 Was never said they weren't gonna do it. Said if support showed they would make DLC. So... nice try
@gameroutlawzz Yes. :)
@Hoski0999 "Nice try"? At what? Why the pointlessly snarky comment?
