Dark Souls Cheaters Have To Git Gud Now - GameSpot Daily

Dark Souls Remastered on PS4, Xbox One, and PC has a new patch that cracks down on cheaters, while its anime cousin Code Vein gets delayed.

Cheaters are just about the best way to ruin a good time with a video game, but a new patch for Dark Souls Remastered hopes to fight against them. The new update launches today, and on top of cheating prevention, it also fixes a bug on the PS4 and PC where players would be invisible.

Other important fixes the patch applies includes a bug where you could enter the final boss chamber and the end cutscene would trigger prematurely, skipping the boss fight entirely. New Game Plus save data corruption has also been fixed.

As for the Xbox One, players will find an issue with resetting stats and creating a new profile fixed. Previously, players would find that their new profile retained the reset stats. Thankfully, this should no longer happen. You can see the rest of the patch notes in our article.

The recent Dark Souls patch headlines today's story, but we also talk about a cut Mafia 3 scene and how to get a weed farm in Stardew Valley. Yes, that's what you'll find in today's show, but be sure to tune in every day of the week at 11 AM PST/2 PM EST/7 PM BST/4 AM AEST for another episode of GameSpot Daily.
