In Japan this game is the most popular of the Kinect dance games. It sold like crap on the 360 over there but Konami released an arcade version called DanceEvolution Arcade and its very popular. Because households in Japan tend to be so small, the only place where you can play this game with ample room is at an arcade. It's very fun and while the music may not be famous to foreign ears, the Japanese version is very much like Dance Central for the West. Popular Japanese licenses.
Bad Soundtrack? Automatic loss in my opinion. If I am going to dance it is going to be to songs I know or ones that are actually good. Glad I got Dance Central cause this one looks way too chaotic and flail-y
my wife bought this last week and i am ashamed to say that i have spent much more time on this than her *sob*
looks like the other dance game except easy mode. but it does have what seems a to be a graphics edge. this one looks like its up to preference.
Next to DANCE CENTRAL this review of 6 is accurate. Dance Central feels like youre really dancing, and in THIS game, its more like a video game where its more about poses, and hand placement, most of the scoring is soley on that, and not the actual dancing.. And very Japanese dancing. And the songs are terrible. They didnt want to spend the money for licensing real tracks. Dance central blows this out the water.
This is the greatest game ever made ! Ignore the low score, as someone mentions, super meatboy got a high score but that game is super difficult and extremely frustrating.
wat the heck??? Super meat boy is retardedly hard and gets a 9 and this is hard if your not a dancer so it gets a 6??? im so confused. ...But i guess hes saying this lacks a difficulty curve for beginners? similar to how rock band has multiple difficulty options? i suppose that could ruin a game; not having those.
This game doesnt deserve a video review its true, but MS didnt inflate Kinect with a massive ad campaign for nothing.
how come there is a video review for every kinekt game??? i do nt see other aa casual games beeing reviewed..
Judging by the games that have come out so far for the Kinect, I can't help but think it is a peripheral for little girls.
It's funny seeing Chris Watters dance! I wonder if he's going to do it on his birthday? Well, if he owns a dance club.
I hope there's even more dance games coming for Kinect cause watching Chris review them is hilarious.
