Combo Breaker - Dishonored: The Knife Jerk of Dunwall
Join Johnny as he throws himself into the Knife of Dunwall DLC for Dishonored, to the detriment of all.
ok....is he gathering negativity for his feedbakula show? cause if yes, he does poor job even at that :/
well, i finished Dishonored just about a month ago, in stealth mode, the story of the game was just boring, and didnt feel like i want to play in order to c what happens, the gameplay was fun at the beginning, but it get too boring doing the same thing over and over, there was no point of discovering the whole map as long as u get the runes and the bones, i had piles of money with nth to spend it on, about the DLC, well i dont c any interest in discovering Doug side of the story (it was boring in the first place) !!!
Bioshock definitely wins, the atmosphere, the variety & the story alone keeps u on ur edge, eager to know more, of Why, when and HOW !!
Loved Dishonored, it was an awesome game, but I don't have any interest in playing this DLC. Anyone feeling the same?
Had to GIF throwing heads at a guard!
Thank you Johnny Chiodini :D
I can see why this game got such great press.
You can actually PLAY in the world as opposed to just being guided through it and barely interacting with scripted actions sequences.
You know the game/s I'm talking bout.
It was a good game but it was just too damn easy, and I never really felt the connection to the world in the same way I did with the latest Bioshock. The immersion never quite reached its potential.
They're both really good games, but given that they're the same genre and the same price, seeing them getting the same scores just seems wrong.
OK that was a little better than last time. But were is the Facebacula... thats by far your best work.
Umm...I'm confused, what's the purpose of this show exactly? Because if I wanted to just watch someone play a video game really badly, well lets just say that that's why God invented grandparents.
@EL_Bomberdor I think he has a certain style of humor that works if he's given time to think about the delivery. Also, some more creative shows couldn't hurt.
@already-Born Really? I loved the story, thought it was super engaging and I was rather interested in seeing it through.
also, you normally had to explore the whole mab to get all the runes and bones...
Maybe you where playing a different game?
@GimliofErebor if the dlc was free id play it again.
@Dakary20 I bet you are an pleasant individual, whom people love to approach for not snarky comments. (sarcasm)
@naryanrobinson To be fair Dishonored is more of a stealth game than a shooter. They're both equally great games for different reasons. While I loved Bioshock for its atmosphere I loved Dishonored for its freedom and Blink mechanic.
Besides Dishonored has been out for while now, you can get a new copy for next to nothing.
@robbiejones Lol, maybe it's because you're still here watchin' it.
@kamikazeespleen No, no he did not!
@Venom_Raptor Agreed. It seems far more interesting than Dunwall City Trials.
@lowenberg75 It's returning next week!
@Dirk_McHardpeck Your first mistake was thinking that a show on gamespot should have a purpose...
@Dirk_McHardpeck You really should find a sense of humor somewhere. Life is much better with one.
@Dirk_McHardpeck you need sense of humor to understand him :P
@grin89 @GimliofErebor If the dlc was free, I still wouldn't play it. I was expecting a good story but was disappointed. It was an ok game. people seem to really love it though. I'm just tired of steam punky stuff!
@fatee YOU SHOWED HIM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@Pro-Aktivity @naryanrobinson And Dishonoured was a new IP venturing into an established market of games 1,2,3 etc. It had a lot of true freedom to game completion and what it did it did very well. Personally I don't like stealth games but this was very enjoyable and you could just balst your way through if you wanted too. So yep the score it recieved was well earned - my only critism would be the length of the game - much too short!!
