Sir Hammerlock sends Maya on her first mission in some direct-feed PS Vita gameplay of Borderlands 2.
Did you enjoy this video?
Nice gameplay? What was that crap. And you almost have to show off camera footage on some of these handhelds for us to get a good sense. Unfortunately, I own this on PC so unless you're a kid who travels around playing games...
Looks worse than I thought it would. If only Sony could allow Vita to be overclocked.
@PeterDuck Yeah, I liked my Vita for side scrollers and JRPG style. But, it just doesn't pack enough punch for console style games. At least not like this.
@PeterDuck why do u want vita to overclocked? the port was poorly made, this game doesnt look any where close to killzone mercenary
In the above gameplay video, it looks like the player is really struggling. Is this difficult to control on the Vita? My biggest handheld reservation has been controls. I played Vice City stories on PSP and it was very annoying and difficult to control. Have controls gotten better on Vita?
@themc_7 yaa much better, unfortunately their is only few good game in vita.
I'm sure it looks much better on the actual vita screen.
just checked it is available. id love to see mercenaries re released from the ps2.
wow good for the vita !! i i enjoyed the first borderlands. this is out now???
Another Call Of Duty video ad...I prefer to play Call Of Booty. 1 thousand times better.
@StonerDemon I was kind of reluctant at first myself but you should get ad blocker. I haven't seen one of those ads in about a month. All it does is run in the background with a small icon at the top of the page. On Chrome anyway.
I really wonder who might be like : OH GREAT, borderlands 2! That game that a already cleared dozens of times is coming to Vita! It's not like : oh great, that Vita exclusive is finally going PC and consoles! Because, y'know, 95% of the gamers own a console, maybe 15% got a Vita... And about 85% already played Borderlands 2 and got tired of it. Who's gonna buy it on Vita? Most of the Vita players already own consoles or PCs...
@LVT_PTA_PB Never played BL2, own a PS4 and a Vita, I bought it.
Wish there was a cheap PS4 port instead though, this game is a struggle on handheld.
@LVT_PTA_PB Only people who have cleared it dozens of times will think that. Those who haven't cleared it dozens of times or at all and have a Vita will be the ones to buy it.
I'll will buy it. I can't play original version.
good god, they're still milking this tired ass game...
If I hadn't already beat this on PS3 and then picked it up in a Steam sale, I would totally have bought this for my Vita. They should have got this out sooner. I really wanted to have this on the go.
Well alright, it doesn't look beautiful but its the whole, proper version coming over from PC, 360/Xbone/PS3/PS4.
Its pretty god damn impressive that I am now playing the actual versions of these games on my handheld, ugly or not - the Vita really is the biggest leap where hand-helds are concerned. It'll be the second game that I would of played on PC that I'll now get on my Vita.
@marco1k1 It is only ugly because you are watching it on a monitor. Scale this down to the Vita screen and most of the issues like aliasing will look much better. Granted it will still be low on textures but it IS a handheld after all. The fact you can play Borderlands on a handheld to start with is impressive.
