No Edo Kages, Ginkaku and Kinkaku and the swordsmen are playable, but if you see the promotional trailer you would swear they are. I wonder if it isnt illegal?
Honestly, and i know people have there own opinions, but these games stop being fun for me after they took out clashes, used to have fun with the old naruto games for the ps2 because they use to remind me of dbz games and that awesome feeling you get when you clash in the middle of an intense battle, but after they took that out it just seems like mindless combat without any kinda of rush really.
dear lord why do you people toss on people who have no idea about the story history of the franchise and the games.
Im a Naruto fan as well, but i understand why this game gets a 6..i wouldn't go beyond 7 for it if i had to rate it. It's beautiful and there are so many characters to pick from, however the combat really lacks depth and it's simply almost an exact copy of it's predecessor.
It wouldn't be or feel ''as impressive'' to people who are not into or familiar with the anime itself.
Style over substance. This is definitely true for this series, and part of the reason why I've never bought one.
But the fights do look SO good!
Naruto UNS succeeds where all of the older ps2/3 DBZ games have failed. The fights in UNS translate the feel of the series extremely well. If anything I have been tempted to get this game, just for the promise of many visuals (since there's so many characters).
I can understand that with so many characters that you can't give each character its own combo's, so its pretty much just a button mash game, I could be wrong I never could play any of these long, the AI is horrible and all you need to do is charge chakra and unleash finishers.
It's a game that just about any age can play. I suppose its really just for fans, but then again its just too simple; Its more for fans looking for VERY casual gameplay.
i loved the game, but after some thought, i can understand the score to a degree, a 6.0 is probably a score id give if i didnt care about the series at all, being a fan of Naruto, i seriously enjoyed this, especially the major boss battles, they were well executed so naturally the score id give as a fan is higher than what GS gave it.
@Flexanite There was one in the works, but I can't remember what happened to it lol.
If you search 'Naruto MMO', on Google, it should come up with some details.
I can't remember if it had been cancelled or if it's delayed.
Also, in response to one of the last remarks in the vid, I think SSBBrawl is better than Melee :P I think the characters (at least the ones I play) respond better to input and the game provides more fun options
@genjuroT I skipped ahead just to see if it moves ever and it doesn't. I can't watch it now, that is how bad it bothers me. Please don't do it again because I really really like this show.
@hippiesanta Lol it's not that bad at all. Maybe the odd word but you can still understand what he's talking about.
You should hear some of the people around my area! To say they are English, it's terrible! haha
