I liked this because I can play a 64 player game without using the internet (I mean instant play). Ever since BFBC 1, I didn't like the game anymore. I wanted to play without internet, not some crappy campaign. Eh, oh well...
Watching this makes me a little bit sad about Battlefield 3. I mean, I'm enjoying BF3, but this game was just so free and open....and the mods...oh the mods.
he was spot on with the comment at the end pretty much saying we will see more Battlefield and he was right here we are 2011 waiting for the game of the century Battlefield 3 if you have only played the Bad Companys i beg you go buy BF2 its 4.99 on origin its easy to get a full game most there are so many full servers BF2 is the greatest Battlefield but soon BF3 will be not only the #1 BF game the #1 shooter ever
This is the game that took first person shooter to a next level, this is the game that defines modern shooter. Best of the best, imo.
very-very great games i ever played, i like this battlefield 1942, and i miss this game so very2 much...i love it...!!! thanks
A great, charming, game.. I still like BF2 a lot more. But that guy is terrible at reviewing games! So doll and boring..
تكفون يا العرب وينكم تكلمو انا اعرف انه فيه عربيين كثير بس يحسبون الموقع انجلزي بح لالا تكلمو ونحن خلفكم العربيه الاساس
Too dipdish that is a bunch of lies there are usually up to 1500 people online at a time right now, that is far from its height but you still see 64 player maps maxed out occasionally.
As of Jan 10 2010, there are still some servers active. I could count at least 20 that are full and above 20 players. Of course, its still not a lot but its not dead. I still play it since its a very dynamic game compared to the lot in the market.
although nobody's online it's still a great game. I got it + the 2 expansions for under 10$ so it's very much worth it. But if money doesnt trouble you and you've got a good PC get battlefield 1943 when it comes out.
Wow, this ad I saw before the review is terrible. "Tis the season to give seasons [of TV shows]." It was for CBS, and had too much CSI. Good game, though.
@holtrocks 2142 is better, but hardly anyone plays it anymore. The few servers left are mostly friendly fire off with c4 bunny hoppers(yuk). When it was more popular, friendly fire on and Titan Mode was great!
@Yomama51 I think it is if your not a big gamer and doesn't care about good graphics this is probably for you. P.S sorry for the late comment:)
@realguitarhero5 Last time I played 2142(several months ago) there were a few servers but most sucked(friendly fire off and full of c4 bunny hoppers). I did find a server that had at least Cerbere Landing and Camp Gibraltar in the rotation with a low player count so it was a little more tactical. That was kind of fun. At least one server has an enemy air transport crew that was raping our team on Port Bavaria Titan Mode. Not so much fun. If teams are balanced(no stacking) and friendly fire is on(encourages more realistic team play since team kills get you negative 4 points each) then it can be really fun(win or lose). Helps if people squad up with decent squad leaders and commanders.
@7thNCtrooper True. You can't even change kits in that game(though it would be weird to go from human to wookie or regular battle droid to super battle droid or droideka). It's pretty cool though because it is set in the Star Wars universe and is a decent game.
