it's amazing !!!
This is going to be a super game, much more that the other two.......crime reconstruction is outstanding. I am pre-ordering.
As much as it looks and feels a lot like Arkham Asylum and Arkham City even in the fighting system with no new movies revealed so far (Excepted The remote claw) but i am still super excited about it as a big fan of Batman.
Now that we finally have the ingame material (it was logical to wait for E3 to reveal it) it does kinda look like a Arkham map-pack BUT... i dont want a good game to go in the ground. So it's a smart move to use the Arkham engine in core because it obviously works really well and is really good. Now i am officially waiting for this game.
Rocksteady kept their word about "new Batman in the hands of trusted people who can pull it off"
Batman : Arkham City with an imperfect Batman, relationship development with Alfred, a cool new/old suit and set of gadgets, tall buildings (something Arkham City was lacking), cars, a functional society, random crimes, a great premise, great main villains, the same great Rocksteady fighting mechanics, interactive detective mode, Batman is viewed as a monster/myth, and a hit is put out on him. I'm psyched, I'm sold, this is reallyawesome, I want to see more and I hope the release on the PS4, it would only be logical. Only thing, did Deadshot ever work with Batman in this continuity, because that is why he became a villain and they both worked with Gordon, so that might be tricky.
Also when the Hell are we going to be able to play Co-Op? How hard is it to write a story line that involves Robin, Night-Wing, or Bat Girl? Can we bring back Co-Op multi-player games other than Army, and Sports?
He has the same moveset as the last install of the game. Nothing here
has changed. If this has been set to before he was in Arkham Asylum
then he should have an entirely new move-set that he needs to refine
through the years of combat to finally arrive to his moveset in Arkham
Asylum. A punch here in this year may not be a punch that he throws
anymore in the future, the way he throws here in this year...(like a
judo throw)..may not be a throw he uses in the future because this may
get him hit more often etc... Come on guys do we have to think of
everything? Where's the creativity? Can we possibly see the other side
of Batman the Bruce Wayne part? If he is just getting into crime
fighting isn't it true that he would have to develop a balance between
his Normal (Day) self and his Alter (Batman) self? This would create a
whole new genre of game-play.
I bought Arkham Asylum and City on PC because of the good ol' Steam sales. Will most likely continue the trend and buy on PC as well this time. Really looking forward to it. The other two are properly fun games.
i wants to how many villians that are going to be in this game and to know how long is this game going to be cause i want to spend a lot of time playing this game
Damnit! As soon as he started talking about the city I was sold. I will be waiting to buy the edition with all the DLC this time though.
@supermarioooooo I'm not a believer in "change for the sake of change", especially when you have a formula that worked so well in Arkham City. Some people are outraged just over them changing the voices of Batman and Joker, though their reasons for it make sense and the new VAs sound good. They're adding new enemy types and new gadgets such as the remote claw, opened up all of Gotham, and are expanding on the universe with a lot of new characters. Even Batman himself promises to be different from the experienced Dark Knight in Arkham Asylum. This is looks like more than "just DLC" to me
@sakajo I was thingking the same. It looks like good but nothing new. I hope they give us a good surprise
@Snakepond1 Yes I can't wait to play as him! Oh man.
@NinpoRix I am sure they could. It is just code. But I am glad they didn't. Not every game needs to be done with your CoD buddies. It is okay to be by yourself once in a while.
@NinpoRix Yeah! Maybe come up with a game in which Bruce Wayne walks around and gets some coffee, and then eats cereal, and we watch him grow to the point in which he eats steak. If you don't like the game, then don't play it. I am tired of games that work well and are fun changing for the sake of changing. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
@estneked I think they might release a gameplay footage for that E3 demo with no commentary for people to enjoy watching it with the voices of the characters.
I saw the footage without any commentary and i gotta say that Troy Baker as The Joker & Roger Craig Smith as Batman are doing a truly great job.
@CaptainBerserk Is it worth forking out $60 dollars right away though,.... or waiting till January. After which the next gens will be out and the price will probably drop.
I don't necessarily agree or disagree with what you're saying, but I want to point something out. It's generally accepted that even to Batman, the Bruce Wayne alter ego is just a chore and, psychologically, not his true identity. Batman is who he is, Bruce Wayne is the mask.
what I was going for. Lets get away from the genres that game
developers told us we have to stay in to be viable. Although Batman is
Batman and fights crime, what makes the Batman who He is? In other words
who is the Man behind the Bat? Exploring this (even as side challenges)
would be a welcome twist to an already fantastic line of games from
this development company. They have proven that they can make a good
adventure game with crime fighting etc... but now how can they challenge
themselves to make something better? So far it seems as though the
move-sets are all the same. The countering system is still the same...no
difference here from what I see. Am i wrong? Can someone see a
