I live in Australian an i actually em a little sick of this? For games like Left 4 Dead, i believe the violence in that made the game so much better. We Want it but there worried about children playing them? well that would be the parents fault if it were so and it is but we all don't become some lunatic maniac killers because we played GTA or Call of Duty. I couldn't get over the fact that he kept saying "If there was" "If there was going to be" and so on. Really think you cant get a straight answer out of him.
They should band pong. " oh my God !!! that vertical bar is smacking the sh1t out of that ball, It is so violence!" adult only please ;)
Australia... Get over yourself, 15 year olds all over the world will play things they shouldn't play, smoke things they shouldn't smoke, and put their wieners in things they shouldn't put them in. Let your bored ass children do something fun.
They should put gamers in charge of rating games not old people who have never played a proper game.
God, what a long ****ing answer. Below comments summed up my thoughts. Yes or No and harden the **** up. Jeez. Yap yap yap yap yap for nearly 10 minutes and they still failed to say anything meaningful.
Ok so what, make a rating on a game that only adults age 18 or 17 and up can purchase, like the rest of the freaking world. Don't completely ban a game from adults who want to play it.
I'm sick of this country's political bulldust. Take a leaf out of Chopper's book and Harden the $%&! Up.
i dont see why they have to make this such a hard process, they claim we live in a free country, how is it free when the government is restricting us. why should we care about overseas countries playing games? this is a concern about our country. why cant this guy just answer questions upfront? a simple yes or no would have sufficed in regards to "will we get an R18 rating?"
"Until guidlines are drafted...". In other words set up Focus Group who sit around for 12 months doing nothing, ultimately get the Public Servants to produce a weighty document that noone will read, and then have another debate. Early in the New Year? I won't hold my breath.
