Ugh... Couldn't they give Edward his own unique way to attract the guards instead of whistling? Like whispering "hey..." or "psst..." or even a bird call or something. Also assassinating a target with guns... is pretty cheap.
Am I the only one who thinks the AI is absolutely stupid? It happens just after the 2:00 min mark, when he jumps off the roof and kills one of two guys. The other guy just stands there and takes 3 WHOLE seconds to react to something happening right in front of him and when he does, he just gets disarmed by an unarmed assassin.

its a sick game in a good way i mean i wasnt expecting it to be so diffirent from the rest and better i like it cant wait to get it for pc
did anyone notice the courtesans in the video at 5.00 when edward goes to buy the guns. I hope its the return of the factions in ac 4. YEAH
i hope those killcams are in the full game and not just added in this demo. slo mo makes everything look cool :D
I didn't really see much/any stealth, and there's no point in it when the combat is still broken. Fix the game-breaking combat before worrying about stealth. Stealth doesn't work well when you can take on an entire army at once.
That underwater cave - you have no weapons, so what do you do? Steal a weapon and slaughter everyone in seconds because the combat is way too easy.
This actually looks like Assassin's Creed! :)
I was not expecting to be this impressed by the gameplay. Looks like a return to form.
Story aside, I love what I've seen of the gameplay. I had a feeling all these open world encounters would bring back more stealth gameplay. Glad to see they're adding incentives for stealth gameplay as well, besides just 100% synch. Stealth was always more of an optional thing in previous games, and I would love to see them make it more of a necessity.
Note the health bars. Edward only has 4 in this demo. I really hope it stays a low number. It forces you to really think about entering a fight if you can be easily killed. It makes fleeing the scene after a kill more tempting than staying to murder everyone. Remember that very first Assassin's Creed trailer? Where Altair stealths through the crowd to approach his target, kills ONLY his target, and then runs, eventually blending into the crowd to get away? I would love to see a return to that. It seems like the crowd based stealth is still not a big thing, but they're heading in the right direction.
That said, I won't be playing Assassin's Creed for the story anymore.
