I hop everyone knows this Rome is France, England but the country in that time is called Germanic please look at your history PLEASE!!!!By the way cool.!
@TBear7130 its more of an expainson of ezios life, telling you how formed the Assassin Brotherhood, so yes it is an expainson but it has more than enough new to call it a sequal.
@chainsawscourge no AC2 started in 1473(i think) and ended in 1503. This takes place maby a few weeks after AC2
@themc_7 by I know it starts of where AC2 left of what i meant was if it was a direct sequal it would need a new ancestor, a dev said so himself, so its more of a expansion, sort of like Halo 3 ODST, its got enough to be its own game and sell for full price.
Finally Rome! I hated how in AC2 you finally go to Rome and it was 1 very linear mission. So pumped!
@GamerJedi29 that's not exactly true, this game starts off exactly where AC2 ends. So it sort of is a direct sequel
even this game is kinda like a shooter. ubisoft just had to throw in that pistol in the middle of AC 2. which doesn't even make sense because everytime he shoots it you don't see the pistol and you think that he some sort of super-powered freak. stupid guns.
@LinkinPark_X Actually they cleary stated this is NOT a expansion to AC2, this IS a full fledged sequal. Watch the video again. Just sayin.... Anyway this does look pretty good, I tried the multiplayer beta on ps3, and it gets boring really fast. Just my opinion though, and that was just a small beta.
this game doesnt look like its anything special but the gameplay from ac2 was much better than number 1. what was quite disappointing was the story. i was hoping to see more of Desmond and the ending was kinda bad and messed up the story as it left me with no clues as to what ac3 was going to be about. im hoping that ac3 will redeem the great story that the series was originally known for as this is the type of game that is story driven and which is what the creators should be focusing on. ac2 was far from perfection but a fairly great sequel. i agree with 9/10 though.
@LinkinPark_X yes but they are moving on with the story you get to play as desmond alot more than in AC2, but it isnt a direct sequal
@Jeremiah1234567 in one of the videos they did mention that its an expansion to AC2... if you think this is AC3 you're so wrong
And @TBear7130 who ever is thumbing you down is ignorant. who most likely didn't play AC2 on the PC. yet they thumbdown your comment just cause they probably simply feel that they are obligated to prevent any Negative opinion relating to this game..
This whole online PC saving thing is just getting on my nerves.. i wish they never thought of implementing it. :/
Well, what can I say? Nothing, because I'm drooling like Homer Simpson for donuts right now. blaaaghhnnggghhhhh...... :D
@Soilworker1234 It has sound glitches but more importantly it has corruption with the save games on PC. It may be due to the DRM, becuase the only time it saves is when you exit the game, not at the checkpoints, then it tries to contact Ubisoft and/or save to your hard drive. This process fails often causing youto lose all your data or just the data since last sucessful save. Forces a lot of repetition and makes the game 20x as long.
i played through the first and second part and enjoyed them very much, but I dont get the hype. ok, the multiplayer looks great, but the single player part??? I mean its the same setting and the graphics also seemed not improved. So please where does the hype come from???
@chainsawscourge i just replayed the game and i know for sure it ends in at least 1488, but i think it was even later than that, maybe 1491
im going to miss mario this part in ac2 when he is interdused is my second favorate entering ever (after cole in geow 2) "its a me mario!"
looks great but it says 1503 rome didnt ac2 ended around 1464? i mean how old is ezio here? like 50?
@ TBear7130 its broken on the pc because of the drm which trys to make sure ppl dont pirate it, it was put there by ubi so dont expect them to take it off. on the consoles it is an amazing game so get it for the console and get this one for the console and you wont be dissappointed
Alls I want to know is, does the player have full control of the figure-head assassinations? Like in previous AC games, I'd sneak up to do a stealthy kill, and the game would take control away and show me a cut-scene of my character doing the assassination, but in a predetermined way and not the way I was just about to do it.
They are releasing an expansion to a game that is broken on the PC? Maybe rather than release 2 broken products how about one working one. or Patch and fix the original AC2 before trying to make more money off an expansion.
I will get it on release day, but probably won;t play it until the next day. I have an exam on the 17th. Its at 10am, I should be done by 1030am, and home by 1130, so Ill be playing at 1131...LOL
