After Rage 2 Leak, Bethesda Teases Pre-E3 Announcement - GameSpot Daily

After Rage 2 seemingly leaked earlier this week, Bethesda tweeted a bunch of cryptic images, while Sony announced Spider-Man, The Last of Us Part 2, and more for E3.

E3 is fast approaching, and Bethesda seems to be teasing... something. After the company's jokey response to a possible Rage 2 leak, Bethesda has taken to teasing all of us with an assortment of images. The first three all featured the colour pink, while the first two also had the numbers 5 and 14 displayed predominantly. Could this be teasing an announcement on this Monday, May 14?

The last two images both show characters that look like they were pulled straight out of the post-apocalyptic world seen in Rage and thrown into our world. There isn't a clear through line between all five images, but we'll be sure to report back if something more comes of this. For now, we talk about some of the things we discovered in the images and more in today's GameSpot Daily. But be sure to stay tuned, as we've got a bunch of other stories coming in 30 minutes or less.

In other E3-related news, Sony has announced the date and time for its E3 press conference. The show will focus on four already-announced games: Death Stranding, Ghost of Tsushima, Spider-Man, and The Last of Us Part II. However, they won't be the only games we see, as Sony says there will also be "stellar announcements from third-party publishers and independent developers." We run down everything we know in the video above.

Jumping over to Microsoft, the Xbox One's gifting feature has expanded to PC and all digital Xbox games. Previously, only Xbox Play Anywhere games were giftable. There are a bunch of other details, so check out today's episode for all of them.

Lastly, the mini-console trend continues with SNK announcing its own Neo Geo Mini. It looks like a little arcade cabinet and, in addition to plugging into a TV via HDMI, can be played on the console itself, thanks to its 3.5 inch screen and on-board controls. It'll come pre-loaded with 40 games, though the lineup has not been revealed--however, the console does feature art from Metal Slug, Samurai Shodown 2, and King of Fighters '97. What Neo Geo games do you want to see come to the Mini? We discuss our favourites today.

That's what you'll find in this episode, but be sure to tune in every day of the week at 11 AM PST/2 PM EST/7 PM BST/4 AM AEST for another episode of GameSpot Daily. We cover the most exciting gaming news in 30 minutes or less or Bethesda's teases will all lead to a promotional, microtransaction-filled mobile game.
