Story: In the near future humanity is fighting over the last resources in the world. The USA has launched a space station to provide alternate resources from the sun. However the station is soon taken over by Russia and they use the station's power to destroy San Francisco. Unless the United States surrenders Russia will destroy New York too. Players assume the role of Sam Gideon who is a DARPA agent and is sent in to help the military reclaim the station,he also is trying to save Dr. Francois Candide. To be honest the story is pretty straight forward and is not really special. If someone dies you won't really care because they are never really developed at all. The story takes a few twists which are pretty predictable. I will say that a lot of the cut scenes look awesome and are exciting to say the least. But beside from the cut scenes the story is pretty average.

Graphics: The graphics are pretty much amazing to say the least of it. the raw power is top notch,the effects all look great,the animations are nice and smooth,the character models look great,especially Sam's suit which looks great with all the flashing lights and moving parts. The most impressive part of it all is that there is no drop in the frame rate at all which is very impressive considering how much stuff is going on. The bad is only a few things,for one most of the voice acting isn't that good and it is made even worse with the corny dialogue.That and during in game there are no facial animations when Sam is talking to his team mates. However I will only take half a point off on which are pretty much almost prefect graphics.

Gameplay: The game is a third person shooter and a damn good one I might add. For one there is a lot going on during each level and really captures the feeling of war. the shooting works fine and is fun to shoot robots. What the game also adds is slow-motion and you can use this to pull off head shots and avoid damage;you can also do power slides which blasts you across the screen which makes combat only way more fun and exciting. There are also bosses, which are awesome to fight and take up a huge part of the screen most of the time and usual end in an awesome quick time event. Lastly there are some awesome set pieces like a space ship crashing or a bridge collapsing which look,feel,and sound great.The bad really boils down two is that there are not a lot of types of weapons,sometimes there can be some cheap deaths due to all the stuff that is going on screen and you can't keep track of it all, and finally the game is only about six hours long. But with in those six hours you will get an adrenaline filled action packed game that will not disappoint.

The verdict/Final score:

Story: 7 Nothing really special but the kick ass cut scenes make it worth while.

Graphics: 9.5 if this game had good voice acting the graphics would be pretty much prefect.. but the game still looks amazing

Gameplay: 9 Tons of fun at the cost of only a six hour game and limited supply of weapons.

Enjoyment: 9 Had a great time flying through this game and I hope that there is a sequel that improves over this one.

Final score: 8.6 (8.5)
