Best gameplay mechanics I've seen in a shooter, but blurry visuals and an un-engaging storyline bring the game down.

Gameplay wise, this is the greatest shooter I've played. Enemies can be shot in a variety of ways that will effect their behavior. The speed of the game keeps things intense. You can shoot down enemy projectiles and make last second evasive moves. It's exciting stuff. I only wish the slow motion function could be disabled entirely. I find the game is most exciting when I voluntarily refuse to use it (it automatically activates when health is low though). I give the game 7 points here.

Graphically, the visuals are blurry, and there is a strange lighting effect that I found distracting. The music is also terrible and totally forgettable. I detract 1 point here.

The story is a complete joke. Reading the developer blog, it was intentionally made terrible for some reason. This takes off 2 points. I simply had no interest in any of the characters or plot developments at all.
