User Rating: 8.5 | Untold Legends: Brotherhood of the Blade PSP
Gameplay- Untold Legends: Brotherhood of the blade, at first glance, seems just like any other hack-and-slash game, but it is not. There are over 100 levels and 1000's of items. The customizability in the game is incredible. There is also many different enemies to fight, dungeons to traverse, and locations to explore. The combat system is farily simple, but very addicting and challenging. At the beggining of the game, you can choose from 4 different classes: Knight, Druid, Alchemist, and Berserker. After you choose a class, you can 'customize' your character. Then you will be placed in a tavern where you have to fight your way out through spiders, lots and lots of spiders. Aftewards, you will be filled in of the story, and the 'real' game begins. Graphics- The graphics, for a portable, are incredible. The only downside is that there are LOTS, and i mean LOTS of jaggies. Especially when you play with the camera zoomed out. Sound- Pretty much the same song played through the whole game so far that ive been playing. Not horrible sound, just not the greatest. Value- The value of this game is incredible. So much to do in the game. So many items to collect. So many places to explore. So many enemies to defeat. All in all, this is a great hack-and-slash type game, and is definantly recomended as a launch title to buy.
