Great Game for a portable system. HIGHLY Recommend.

Untold Legends is a great Launch title for the PSP. I bought 2 games Lumines and ULBB When i threw Untold Legends in i didnt know what to expect. I watched the agmespot reveiw and was warry of even getting the game but i decided to risk it. I was thinking how can you beat a portable RPG that can jump online when visiting friends and such. You have 4 professions to choose from Druid, Knight, Berserker, Alchemist. You do not get to choose genders. But you have skin tone options and hair. I went with the knight since it has ranged and can wear the best armor. You start out waking up in a hotel and it is being overrun by mobs/creatures. So you immediatly start to hack and slash. The first few lvls are extremely easy but as the game goes on you will have to begin to save and choose your skills wisely. (heh only made it to lvl 14). The questing is straight forward and easy. You get good equipment every lvl about. As you go in and out of the dungeons the creatures go up with you as well as the equipment. A lot of times the bosses usually droped stuff to high of lvl for you so that did kinda suck. Theres a extremely basic crafting system. You find a upgrade you throw it on either armor or weapon. You put attribute point towards 4 differant area. Dex, Str, Int, Stam. You then choose from a branch what skills you want to upgrade. Thus making your character somewhat unique. All the items have their own appearances which is nice. I used to hate games that you get sweet armor and it doesnt look anydifferant from anyone elses. I feel the gamespot kinda miss leads people on this game. The reveiw repeatidly said oh this is just like all the rest of the hack em slash em RPG. Welp one thing i have never played any before so it wont be old to me. In reality it would be brand new. The music isnt all that great but. When your playing it does seem to have nice surround sound affect as you run past stuff. Graphics are pretty nice. Ya theres better but hey its the gameplay that counts. << ANOTHER THING LOAD TIME ISNT THAT BAD>>. Is less then a PS2 load time for sure. If you play HALO 2 it like 10x shorter then that. ( i love halo2) no pun intended. Like i said its a portable RPG. You can pick it up and put it down anywhere you want. Taking a 10min ride throw in UT and play. This games replay value will be good especially if you have friends playing it as well. It can be like a competition whos gonna have the best equip and such. Conclusion: I have had fun playing it approx 10 hour or so. Gamespot gave an unjustice reveiw i think. PS... I would like to see more reveiw as well from others.
