Aye, what happened to Squaresoft. Just because this game was on a PS2 does not mean it was any better than anything ont he PS1. First of all the navigation system is strange, you travel in hops and in almost every hop you encounter something. The characters aren't really customizable as they can't put on and take off stuff like FF7. And the hit point system is eschewed for a life point systemd. And don't even get me started on the slot system for fighting. Yes, for a special attack (like Tifa's slots in FF7) would be ok, but for every attack. But the graphics are nice and the music is excellent. But something about this game is odd and dissapointing.
