An outstanding game that anyone will enjoy

User Rating: 9 | Uncharted: Drake's Fortune PS3
Before I begin, I'm not a fan of shooting games like CoD, but this is one of my favourites of all time.

Story:

The story is fantastic. It's interesting and gripping. There may be a few holes now and then, but it's not enough to stop you enjoying it. The tension is what really makes the game stand out. Just walking through a massive room whilst catching glimpses of "things" jumping around is something you won't forget soon.

Gameplay:

Platforming is easy to do and fun. Occasionally I have died due to an awkward angle, but it didn't affect the experience. Shooting is fun and also, easy to do. The variety of enemies offer an intriguing experience. There isn't a massive variety of weapons, but there are enough for the purpose, and all can be used effectively, except for the grenades at certain points.

Mechanics:

The camera is nice and responsive, and hasn't really got in the way or restricted progress.

Replay value:

The variety of trophies will keep you playing long after completing the game. There are a total of 60 hidden treasures, which are concealed in sneaky places throughout each level.

To conclude, even though this was one of the first games for the PS3, the graphics are fantastic. The gameplay is outstanding. There isn't much wrong with it.

So, I strongly recommend you buy this game if you own a PS3. You won't regret it.
